observes is that the book had 61 times 3¶s. How many pages does the book contain?

2.Jarius and Kylar are playing the game. If Jarius wins, then he wins twice as many games as
Kylar. If Jarius loses, then Kylar wins as the same number of games that Jarius wins. How

3.Two trains travel from NewYork to Washington and the travel takes 5 hours journey time.

choose exactly five to be in an exhibit. Any combination is acceptable provided it meets the

following conditions:

* If T is chosen, X cannot be chosen

* If U is chosen, Y must also be chosen

* If V is chosen, X must also be chosen

Solution : p(r1)=5/6, p(b1)=1/6,Let x sides are red.


Prob. To get both colors are same => [(5/6)(x/6)+(1/6)(6-x)/6] =1/2, After solving x=3

8) A car is traveling at a uniform speed. The driver sees a milestone showing a 2-digit number.
After traveling for an hour the
driver sees another milestone with the same digits in reverse order. After another hour the driver
sees another milestone containing
the same two digits with a zero in between(0). What is the average speed of the driver.

meet x in way going down.when i had still 7 steps to go down x had gone up .find no. of steps in
the staircase.condition: for each of my one step down x goes up 2 steps.
