Television
Sheridans program combines hands-on, real-world experience
backed by theoretical learning in all aspects of the industry.
Program Eligibility
Ontario Secondary School Diploma or
equivalent, including these required courses:
English, Grade 12 (ENG4U)
Career Opportunities
The broad range of skills that the Honours Bachelor of Film and Television degree
PLUS provides will help graduates to pursue multiple roles in a variety of employment options
5 additional grade 12 credits (M or U) in the creative industries sector.
Minimum 65% overall average

HERE ARE SOME JOBS YOU MIGHT FIND:
Two semesters of postsecondary education, Content Producer/Director Editor
including required courses, with a minimum 65%
overall average, a minimum 65% in ENG4U, and a Assistant Editor Grip
minimum 60% in remaining courses. Camera Trainee Production Assistant
Applicant Selection Boom Operator Script Reader
Eligible applicants are selected on the basis of
previous academic achievement (the average of
their six highest senior-level credits, including
required courses) and the submission of a
Creative Project (see Portfolio Requirements) and
subsequent presentation to a faculty panel.
Applicants who do not meet the admission
requirements for this program will be assessed
and advised individually and may be considered for
other, related programs.
Sheridan has been granted a consent by the
Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities to
offer this applied degree for a 7-year term starting
December 17, 2013. Sheridan will ensure that all
students admitted to the Honours Bachelor of Film
and Television program during the period of consent
will have the opportunity to complete the program

Analyzing the Screen Story History of International Cinema
that the program and the degree will be appropriate
to their needs (e.g. acceptable to potential Cinematography History of Non-fiction Film
employers, professional licensing bodies, or other
