Unfortunately, ALL Elective lists I found were outdated, and

MANY Universities has stopped accepting INT. students, so I had


to make this one

ACCEPTING INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS = Non-LCME


(Non-American/Canadian Medical Schools)

GHLO Universities: If your School is in the Home Schools, then you can apply to one of
the Host Schools through contacting your School administration.

These are the US Universities accepting through GHLO:

- Larkin Community Hospital
- University of South Carolina School of Medicine:
- Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine:
- West Virginia University
- University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine

Uni. of Illinois - Chicago (No Application fee, only $1500 tuition fee)

Uni. of Illinois - Peoria (via Mail)

Louisiana State University (Via Mail)

University of Florida College of Medicine Jacksonville ($800/Week)

Uni. of Massachusetts Medical School

Kansas
Uni. of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA)
Only accepts international students in: Emergency, Otolaryngology, Surgery, Urology

Cook County Health and Hospital System:


Only accepts international students in: Trauma, Anesthesiology, Burn

Wake Forest School of Medicine (Only select five international students every year :)

Texas Heart Institute: Doesnt offer electives in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics (you can

Doesnt accept international students for internal medicine, Only PEDS, via MAIL

TOEFL score required: minimum score of 107, fees $2500

National Institute of Health (NIH): (one of the top)


TOEFL score required: minimum score of 108 (28+ in speaking and listening)

Uni. of New Mexico: Catalog and Requirements


Need a Faculty SPONSOR, No Cardiology/Peds Cardio, $1750 fees, via MAIL

Cleveland Clinic: (BEST place to go) No tuition fees, only $400 application fees/month
TOEFL score required: High in Reading and Listening and Good in Writing and Speaking
(Can be waived by Secondary English Education = IGCSE)

Mayo Clinic: (BEST place to go) No tuition fees, only $350 application fees, #1 in USA
TOEFL score required: minimum score of 104 (Can be waived if your Medical School
teaches Medicine in English = get Letter of English Education)

Johns Hopkins = Research Elective is the ONLY allowed
