in Barangay Lanit, Jaro was filled with hope and excitement as participants of
SIGA 2017 together with SSEAYP ( Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Program) visited their village last
April 27, 2017. More than a hundred participants joined different activities such as planting, story telling
for kids, and zumba. The participants also expressed their plan to help to build clean restrooms for the
Indigenous peple who dwell in the said village.

The SSEAYP program aims to promote friendship and mutual understanding among youths of Japan and
the ten Southeast Asian countries.
