No.

Moisture Test Procedures shall be in accordance with (SAES-R-004 Sec. 1 , ASTM F 710 Sec. 5.1, ASTM F 2170) OR

1- Three tests for the first 1000 ft (100 m) and at least one additional test for each additional 1000 ft (100 m)

2- Use a rotary hammerdrill with a carbide-tipped drill bit to drill holes to required depth. For slab drying from top only, such as slab on the ground,
the depth of the drill shall be 40% of the thickness of the slab. For slabs drying from top and bottom, such as elevated slabs, the depth of the drill
shall be 20% of the thickness of the slab.

3- Remove dust from the hole using a vacuum cleaner.

4- Insert hole liner to bottom of hole. Place rubber stopper into upper end of liner and seal around liner to concrete at concrete surface with joint
sealant, caulk, or gasketed cover.

5- Allow 72 h to achieve moisture equilibrium within the hole before making relative humidity measurements

6-Remove the rubber stopper at the top of the liner and insert probe. Seal the probe lead wire to the liner where the wire emerges from the top of the
liner. Connect the probe lead wire to the meter, turn on the meter and allow it to warm up as indicated by the manufacturers instructions

7-Allow probe to reach temperature equilibrium before measuring relative humidity. Probe shall be at the same temperature as the concrete before
reading.

8-Check for drift. Meter reading must not drift more than 1 % relative humidity over 5 min.

9-Record the relative humidity to the nearest percent and temperature to the nearest degree Celsius (Fahrenheit).
Also record the location of the hole within the structure and depth of the probe tip below the concrete surface to the nearest 0.04 in. (mm)

10-Use the relative humidity probe to measure the ambient air temperature and relative humidity above the slab in the vicinity of the hole. Record the
relative humidity to the nearest ercent, and temperature to the nearest degree Fahrenheit(Celsius).

11-The concrete moisture reading shall be less than 75%. Pass Fail N/A

Moisture Test Procedures shall be in accordance with (SAES-R-004 Sec. 1 , ASTM F 710 Sec. 5.1, ASTM F 1869)

1- For areas up to 1000 ft (100 m), three test locations shall be selected. Add one additional test for each 1000 ft (100 m) or fraction thereof.

2- The test site should be at the same temperature and humidity expected during normal use. If this is not possible, then the test conditions shall be
75 10F (23.9 5.5C) and 5010 % relative humidity. Maintain these conditions 48 h prior to, and during testing.

3-The actual test area shall be clean and free of all foreign substances.

4- Lightly grind an area 20 by 20 in. (50 by 50 cm) to produce a surface profile equal to ICRI CSP-1 to CSP-2.

5- Expose a minimum area of 20 by 20 in. (50 by 50 cm) to conditions specified in 1 and 2 for a minimum period of 24h prior to starting each test.
6-Weigh the dish of anhydrous calcium chloride, including the tape used to seal the container, the container lid, and the label which should be affixed
to the lid.

7-If not provided by the CaCl2(calcium chloride) test kit manufacturer, obtain the actual area of the test site.

8-Apply the sealant to the flanges of the transparent cover in a continuous bead. If the sealant has been pre-installed by the kit manufacturer, expose
by peeling off the protective covering.

9-Remove the sealing tape from the calcium chloride dish, if provided, and attach it to the side of the transparent cover. Remove the dish lid and
invert it under the dish. Set the dish (in the inverted lid) onto the concrete surface.

10-Immediately place the transparent cover over the calcium chloride dish. Firmly press down on the covers flanges compressing the sealant
providing an airtight seal around the cover.
11-After test has been in place for 60-72 h, remove the plastic cover. Replace the lid on the dish and immediately reseal using the original sealing
tape. Immediately reweigh the sealed container.
12- The concrete moisture reading shall be less than 3 lb/1000 ft(170 g/m) per 24h
The concrete floor shall be given more curingtime. (ASTM F1869). Pass Fail
N/A

pH Test Procedures shall be in accordance with (SAES-R-004 Sec. 1 / ASTM F 710 Sec. 5.2.1)

1- Use wide range of pH paper, its associated pH chart, and distilled or deionized water
2- Place several drops of water on a clean surface of concrete, forming a puddle approximately 25mm in diameter

3- Insert the Elcometer probes into each hole and seal in place with silicone putty.
4- Allow the puddle to set for 60 plus or minus 5 seconds, then dip the pH paper into the water.
5- pH Content Reading: ____________

6- Acceptable pH level reading ranges from 7.0 to 10,

Readings below 7.0 and in excess of 10.0 have been known to affect resilient flooring or adhesives, or both. Refer to resilient flooring manufacturers
written instructions for guidelines on acceptable testing methods and acceptable pH levels. Pass Fail N/A
