Forcing a connection in Telefonicas mp3 player

Forcing a connection is made to check if the mp3 player is connected to the server and it can download new songs.

How to force a connection

With the title of the song running in the display,

Press MENU BUTTON once, and then will appear: SELECCIONE MENU DE CONFIGURACION [SELECT MENU
CONFIGURATION] in the first line of the display of the mp3, and: FECHA Y HORA [DATE AND HOUR] in the second line of
the display.

Now we have to press VOL + once, and then will appear in the second line of the display: CONFIGURACION

Now we press MENU BUTTON once and in the display will appear: INDIQUE CONTRASEA [ENTER PASSWORD] in the
first line of the display, and: 00000 in the second line of the display.

The password is: 11911, with VOL + and VOL we change the numbers, and with CANAL + and CANAL we
move to the near digits (CANAL + to the right & CANAL to the left, in case we mistake one number or something like
that)

Once we have put 11911, we press MENU BUTTON once, and in the second line of the display will appear: 2.1 FORZAR
CONEXION [FORCE A CONNECTION], so, we press MENU BUTTON again.

ONCE YOU HAVE DONE THIS, THERE ARE 2 POSSIBLE MESSAGES IN THE DISPLAY:

- CAJA SIN CONEXION [MP3 WITHOUT CONNEXION]: PROBABLY THERE IS NO INTERNET CABLE FROM THE ROUTER OR
SWITCH, SO ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO CONNECT WITH THE SERVER. IN THIS CASE, IT WOULD BE GOOD TO CHECK IF THERE IS
AN INTERNET CABLE CONNECTED TO THE MP3, AND IF ITS, TO SWITCH OFF AND SWITCH ON AGAIN THE MP3 (with the
power button in the backside, at the right hand) AND REPEAT FORCING A CONNEXION, ONLY TO BE SURE THAT THE
MP3 IS NOT LOCKED.IF THE MESSAGE IS STILL THE SAME (CAJA SIN CONEXION), THERE IS NO DISCUSSION, MOST SURE
THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE ROUTER.

- ACTUALIZANDO FECHA Y HORA, DESCARGANDO ORD, DESCARGANDO AUDIO OR PROCESANDO MUSICA


(UPDATING DATE AND HOUR, DOWNLOADING ORD, DOWNLOADING AUDIO OR PROCESSING MUSIC). IF THE
MESSAGE IS DESCARGANDO AUDIO [DOWNLOADING AUDIO] EVERYTHING IS OK, BUT IF THE MESSAGE IS
PROCESANDO MUSICA [PROCESSING MUSIC] THERE IS A CHANCE THAT THE MP3 PLAYER WILL CONNECT WITH THE
INDITEX SERVER AND NOT TO THE TELEFONICA SERVER; IN THIS CASE THE NEXT MESSAGE IN THE DISPLAY WILL BE:
DESCARGANDO ORD: ERROR
