What we are learning

This week in reading we have focusing on the setting of a story and plot. We have been talking
about visualizing, using our 5 senses as a strategy to improve our reading comprehension. We
have been working on identifying types of sentences and have been reviewing nouns. We have
started editing and final drafting for our personal narratives. In math, we are learning about
different ways to represent numbers and putting numbers in order from least to greatest or
greatest to least using place value. In social studies, we learned about the life and legend of
Johnny Appleseed. We will begin learning about the purpose of government and the 3 branches.
In science are learning about the states of matter and how objects can change from on state
to another.
