When cured it will form a tough, flexible seal capable of eyclic expansion and compression movement of 50% (+ 25%) of the original joint width. DORON POLYURETHANE SEAL is virtually unaffected by normal weathering conditions such a rain, sunlight, snow, sleet, ultra-violet, radiation, ozone, atmospheric contamination and pollution. (Meat, Fish, Game, Poultry-All Areas.) BASIC USES: DORON POLYURETHANE SEAL one part sealant is designed for sealing. Expansion joints in pre-cast conerete panels and metal curtain walls, perimeter scaling of door and window framing and other building components. DORON POLYURETHANE SEAL may be factory applied to steal shop finished products or field applied to seal erected building components in both new and remedial applications. The sealant cures to for to a durable, flexible, watertight bond with most building materials in any combination: stone, masonry, cerami marble, wood, steel, aluminum and many plastics. In most cases no primer is required. PAINTABILITY: DORON POLYURETHANE SEAL can be painted after fully curing by most conventional coating systems including epoxy resins. Coatings containing high solvent contents such as gloss enamels or high oil based undercoats may cause the surface of the sealant to react creating a tacky surface to develop. A field test is recommended to ensure compatibility. To obtain best appearance and performance the paint must approximate the elongation capabilities of the sealant. Thin or watered down coatings will surface craze very quickly upon sealants movement. High build coatings with some elastomeric ability such as quality acrylic emulsions have the capability to absorb low movement without significant distortion of the paint film. APPLICATIONS INSTRUCTIONS: (Preparation) Clean and dry all surface by foreign matier and contaminants such as oil, dust, grease, frost, water, dirt, old sealants and any protective coating. Dust and loose particles should be blown out of joints or vacuumed cleaned. Pierce the membrane at the top of the carteidge and screw on the nozzle, Cut nozzle to give the required angle and bead size. Place the cartridge in a applicator gun and squeeze the trigger. For sausages, a barrel gun is required, clip the end of the sausage and place in barrel gun. Screw end cap and nozzle on the barrel gun. Using the trigger extrude the sealant, to stop depress using the catch plate. Apply DORON POLYURETHANE, SEAL jn a continuous bead using enough pressure to properly fill the joint.
