Canadian Government Powerpoint Presentation

You are to make a Powerpoint presentation about the different levels of government in
Canada. You will include information on the electoral process, the different political parties and
also a related current issue. Include as many pictures and keywords to help explain your ideas.
Write down and practise what you want to say about each slide in the notes, and you will
record it into your presentation. You will play your presentation for the class! You may also do
your presentation live with notes.

Step 1: Find out as much as you can about the following categories with the help of the linked
resources. Record your information using a flow chart.

Tips on making an excellent powerpoint!

Include LOTS of interesting pictures, diagrams, photographs even videos!
Choose appropriate colours for your topic
Make the words easy to read and understand not too much writing!
Type what you want to say in the notes to help you practise a smooth presentation

When you have completed your powerpoint, you will be given a self and peer assessment and
also receive feedback from your teacher. You will use this to edit and perfect your powerpoint
slideshow!
