Science & Tech expo, Aero and Robotic show 2014.

Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant (KKNPP) participated in the 5th

National level Science & Tech expo, Aero and Robotic show 2014 hoisted by Excel
Group Institutions Kumarapalayam, Erode, Tamil Nadu between 9th 11th October
2014. The 5th National level Science & Tech expo, Aero and Robotic show 2014 was
inaugurated by Dr. V.Ponraj, Scientific advisor to Dr A P J Abdul Kalam , Former
President of India. As per the request from Excel Group Institutions, KKNPP also
participated in the exhibition by putting up its Public awareness pavilion, conducted
classes on nuclear energy and involved in panel discussions. The KKNPP pavilion was
inaugurated by Dr.V.Ponraj Scientific advisor to Dr A P J Abdul Kalam. Around 16000
students, faculties from various schools and colleges from Erode district have visited
the KKNPP pavilion and were imparted about the role of nuclear energy for Indias
future development. The team from KKNPP has cleared their doubts and
apprehensions about the nuclear power plant. KKNPP pavilion distributed
information booklets to all visitors. Most of the students expressed their support and
wish to visit Indias largest power plant.
