Pyramids was made using slaves and the time taken to build spanned over many
Kings/Pharaohs reigns
The Pyramids became a symbol that connected the Gods and the Egyptian people
Egypt had lost its position as a great power, due to the Romans conquering land one
country at a time, Egypt was the only area in Mediterranean the that hadnt been
claimed by the Romans under the order of the King

Cleopatra had broken ancient traditions after she had a child alongside Caesar, only
one other Pharaoh had done this before and had been punished severely for this as
he tried to remove the old gods as when he died the Egyptians tried to remove
evidence of him
Religion was a significant factor in not only just people social lives but also was a big
factor in the economy
Cleopatra travelled to Rome, which at this time was the political centre of the world,
to preserve her own power, and to gain influence over Caesar
