We talked about a number of films. He always
wanted me to be in movies, and we have al-
ways discussed that. Working with people who
want to work with you, who believe in you,
is something I only recently discovered. This
business is all about chasing a hype. A lot of it
is that. You see that often. But what I discov-
ered more, its about working with people that
believe in you and that you enjoy. And then
you can bring out the best in each other. You
can service a directors vision, and its fun. Its
not all about being antagonistic. At a certain
point, you want to work with people who be-
lieve in you.

Tailor the following quintet to your business

Plug-and-Play Templates
Time is money, so use it wisely. A great way
to do this is to invest in plug-and-play tem-
plates for your basic correspondence.
Marketing coaches, like Ryan Diess with
Digital Marketer for example, create ready-
made templates for things such as email au-
to-responders for all different occasions, your
basic upsell sequence, etc. You can purchase
these templates, take a couple of minutes to
tailor them to your business and youve saved
yourself the unnecessary time to create what
amounts to a standard document.
Swipe Files
Do you ever come across a marketing idea
and think, How brilliant! I could do some-
thing like that. When you do, save it. I call this
swiping because youre going to take the idea
with you and store it for possible future use.
Slightly different from the plug-and-play
hack, where youve purchased the content and
are allowed to keep it exactly as it is, in this in-
stance youre going to borrow the concept and
adapt it to be your own.
Remember, while you can expand on an
idea, its important to remember you cant copy

There are a multitude of ways to have
your product or service seen, but there are

Take those in your Facebook group thats
a list and one you can easily reach out to via

website. When visitors view the page, the pixel
analytics will let you know if they choose not
to opt-in to the offer or if its their first trip to
the page. A Facebook pixel will then allow you

from everyone who visits your website without
everyone receiving an email.

Many home businesses face the same chal-
lenges as Beth. Its often easy to get your first
customers through your existing network, but

cessful and create an offer that will help them
achieve their goals.

4. Start the Relationship
Once youve identified the people that can
make a difference, its time to reach out, pres-
ent your offer and start the relationship. This
could be as simple as sending free product
and hoping they talk about you on their blog,
or as complicated as negotiating an affiliate
program or commission program for ongoing
referrals. Its important to connect individually
to make sure they want to work with you and
accept the offer you have. These personal con-
versations will also make it easier for you to
