With our expertise and skills in the field of marketing, Fishing Inc. will strive to succeed in
conducting sales and customer relationship with clients and suppliers, closing deals with a
sincere handshake which promises an honest business relationship.

Young Bottler’s Inc. Vision

We aim to be the number one effective and efficient practicum company in retailing and
direct selling products of good quality coming from trusted and customer-loyal manufacturing
firms in CBAA, USA, and to give our clients guaranteed satisfaction with our services and
products offered.

Goals
The main goal of the corporation is to produce Php750,000 or more this semester in
order to meet the required quota of the course. This way, we are also challenged to work as a
team fuelled with unity and cooperation. Also, one of our goals is to penetrate the alcoholic-and-
non-alcoholic market successfully even though we are just starting to practice direct selling and
somehow, retailing. We are also trying to reach another goal which is to balance our finances as
much as possible weekly. In terms of purchasing and operations, our goal is to follow the
systemized process of our orders up to our purchasing.
Since marketing is one of our major concerns, we also developed a goal which is to
market our products intensively with sari-sari stores in each of our team members’ locations. In
connection to this, a marketing goal emerged which is to conduct sales with distributors and
clients with a handshake promising a closed deal.

Strategies
In order to meet our desired goals, we have formulated strategies that would fit each
goal. Starting with the products we chose to sell, we decided to engage with the drinking
market. We chose the Coca-Cola Company, Pepsi Company, San Miguel Brewery, and Asia
Brewery. This is also a strategy considering these products have already established their
images in the market. All we have to do is sell. In terms of selling, we tried to sales talk with
different store owners in Iloilo City, as well as authorized people in charged with town fiestas,
asking for information on how we could penetrate the town and sell products on respective
selling areas. Transportations available to the group are to be used temporarily when there are
deliveries scheduled.
The group tried to transact with authorized people in town fiestas regarding business
oral or written permits in order to put up kiosks that would house in the sellers and products.

Procedures, Policies, and Rules

When the group is vacant of college classes or family affairs or any related necessary
dealings, they are required to attend to their duties in the corporation. They are also required to
wear civilian clothes as a rule (Shirt and Pants is a must) when outside the university. Also, the
NO SMOKING policy is strongly stressed when the group practices their selling skills.
Each person involved in the corporation is to invest a capital of Php2,000 which is
recorded by the treasurer. Any financial transaction regarding sales coming out and coming in
the corporation is monitored by the accounting manager which is repeatedly checked by the
auditing committee composed of the auditor and chairman.
Order slips are given to each member to fill out the blanks that ask for: the product/s
ordered, selling price/pack or/piece, No. of cases/pieces, and location (for the benefit of
delivery). This is given to the secretary to summarize the orders, which would then be passed
on to the treasurer, accounting and financial manager to determine the amount of money to be
released for purchase. The operations and purchasing managers and committees will facilitate
the purchase and delivery of products. This procedure is hereby systemized and agreed by the
corporation.

SWOT Analysis
The strength of our company would include the products that we sell are already sellable
in the market and have established brand names and customer loyalty. Our weakness refers to
our limited time. Since we are just adjusting our time among studies, extracurricular activities
and work, we are completely pressured to do this project even though it is not time-bounded as
a goal in order to reach the required quota. We are as well admittedly lacking transportation for
our delivery because of limited resources.
In terms of our opportunity, we have great opportunities waiting during town fiestas,
school or town events that entail a need for drinks. Another opportunity is the dry season that
came up lately because this causes the market to demand ice cold drinks.
The threats in our wholesaling and retailing business are the established wholesaler and
retailing firms that have gained customer loyalty and brand name. Another obstacle is the rainy
season, which not to mention can lessen our sales because the people might crave for hot
beverages.
