Engineering and Management (IIAEM)
is a collaborative venture between Jain
University and Society of Indian Aerospace
Technologies & Industries (SIATI), an
initiative never attempted by regular
Universities, which has received
overwhelming suppor t from academic
institutions, R & D laboratories and Industrial
organizations like ISRO, HAL, AAI, NAL,
Air India, BIAL, CIAL and many others.
Besides involving itself in cutting edge
research, the Institute will generate a pool
of technical manpower skilled in Aircraft
Design, Avionics, Aircraft Maintenance
Engineering, Airpor t Infrastructure &
Management both at the under graduate,
postgraduate and research levels. The
curriculum has been vetted by experts from
industry and academia. IIAEM is committed
and has already invested considerable
.effort and money. Within the next few
ye a rs, t h e I I A E M w i l l d eve l o p i n t o a
world-class institution for Aerospace
research and education. The objectives
of SIATI include stimulating Education,
Tr a i n i n g , R e s e a r c h Te c h n o l o g y a n d
Business Development in the f ield of
Aerospace and associated industries,
academic interactions both within India and
with overseas organizations and encouraging
collaborations in Technology tie ups, Training,
Education and Business Development
through joint ventures.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP INTENDED AUDIENCE
Faculties from affiliated colleges of VTU,
Micro-Electro-Mechanical-Systems (MEMS) N o n - V T U , B a n g a l o r e U n i v e r s i t y,
are miniature devices, which integrate Autonomous Colleges & Research
