01/2017 07/2017: Glyn High School, Epsom - Secondary School Chemistry Teacher
I have been employed within the GLF Academy group to raise standards within the Chemistry department and
improve maintenance of students through year 11 into year 12. I therefore am currently teaching GCSE and
Key Stage 3 science and Key Stage 5 Chemistry. I am also a form tutor and have several extracurricular
responsibilities. I am Looking to move on to a new role where I can better use my skills.

06/2012 09/2016: Mildenhall College Academy - Secondary School Chemistry Teacher

I worked as a Science teacher with Chemistry specialism. I was also a form tutor. My main responsibilities
included teaching key stages 3-5 and BTEC up to level 3, registration and meeting with parents. I also ensured
health and safety in the workplace.

I set up a new successful business. This required strong record-keeping, managerial and organisational skills,
as well as customer focus.

Post Doctorate research investigating receptors as potential treatment targets for Parkinsonism and

Sabbatical to Italian specialist laboratory to investigate leukaemia but also to work as a communications

Medicine and Dentistry
2-year post-doctoral position investigating intracellular proteins. I identified a key molecule in breast cancer
growth which is now a target in chemotherapy. I also taught and ran tutorials for medical students.

Presented and demonstrated BSc level science topics to undergraduates and to the public during open events.

reading and editing research and company documentation. Subsequently I digitised this information.
