Project background

Flood is one of most common natural disaster occurred in Malaysia especially in the East Coast part
of Malaysia. Its may lead the victim struggling for clean water. This is because water is one of the
most important substances on earth. All plants and animals must have water to survive. If there was
no water there would be no life on earth. It is most important that the water which people drink
is clean water. This means that the water must be free of germs and chemicals and be clear from
cloudy. Ir Haris who is a design engineer willing to design a portable of 500 gallon of water container
to overcome the struggling that had been through by the flood victim at Kampung Raya in term of
getting the clean water. Several factor considered while choosing the material to build the 500 gallon
of water container for example the toughness, ductility, strength, corrosion resistance, and others. All
the factor should meet the certain requirement to ensure its lasting for the at least the three upcoming
months.
