 WHAT IS IT?
The United Nations defines violence against women as "any
act of gender-based violence that results in, or may result in,
physical, sexual or psychological harm to women, including
threats of such acts, coercion or arbitrary deprivation of
freedom, whether they occur in public life or in private life. "
Partner violence refers to the behavior of the partner or
former partner that causes physical, sexual or psychological
harm, including physical aggression, sexual coercion,
psychological abuse and control behaviors.
Sexual violence is any sexual act, the attempt to consummate
a sexual act or other act directed against the sexuality of a
person through coercion by another person, regardless of
their relationship with the victim, in any field.
REFLECTION
We have to support all those women who are attacked, either
physically or verbally. We have to stop this, we know how
important women are for us, support the campaigns, support
communities, everything is in our hands, we must be aware
and support!
