Gracious and life-giving God, I praise you for the gift of water that sustains
life, and above all for the water of eternal life in Christ Jesus, which your
people receive in the gift of Holy Baptism. Shower us with your Spirit and
renew us all with your mercy which helps, heals, forgives, comforts, and

A MESSAGE FOR OUR CHILDREN


FIRST READING: Exodus 16:2-15 PSALM 105:1-6, 37-45
Faced with hunger in the wilderness, the Israelites longed for life back in
Egypt and said they wished the exodus had never happened. Then God Refrain:
