Aliens? Do they really exist?
I do not believe that intelligent aliens
from another planet have visited Earth. I
do not think there is any good, credible
evidence that alien life has interacted
with humans.

I believe that because of the very large

number of planets that exist in the
universe, and the frequency with which
we think Earth-like planets occur. Of
course, it is very difficult to estimate the
probability of life forming on an Earth-
like planet, or the probability of
intelligence evolving, but intelligent life
on other planets is statistically likely
even if these probabilities are very low.

About being a child

Q. Why do children learn things much faster than adults do?

A. Kids have more neurons actively creating new connections than adults do, so they
can do things like learn to play tennis or memorize the multiplication tables or learn

A.
Relationships never work out as planned,
long distance relationships are hard, but
they can be worth it. If you truly care about
and trust the other person in the
relationship then you can make it work.

The placebo effect

The placebo effect refers to the phenomenon in which some people experience some
type of benefit after the administration of a placebo. A placebo is a substance with no
known medical effects, such as sterile water, saline solution or a sugar pill. In short, a
placebo is a fake treatment that in some cases can produce a very real response. The
expectations of the patient play an important role in the placebo effect; the more a
person expects the treatment to work, the more likely they are to exhibit a placebo
response.

In medical research, some patients in a study may be administered a placebo while

other participants receive the actual treatment. The purpose of doing this is to
determine whether or not the treatment has an actual effect. If participants taking the
actual drug demonstrate a significant improvement over those taking the placebo, the
study can help support the claim for the drug's effectiveness.

Id like to say that the ability to make good eye contact is one of the social skills a lot of

accounts from the Chinese and Greeks, for
example, which make up some of the
earliest writings of hauntings. But do people
in our modern, well-educated civilization
actually believe in ghosts?

In the United States, the answer seems to be

"yes." According to a survey taken in 2015,
more than half of the population considers
ghosts are real. The belief is in spite of the
