Two Days Capacity Building Workshop on

Venue : The Gateway Hotel
National Building Code 2016 Residency Road,
Bangalore

National Building Code of India 2016 (NBC 2016) released by the Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS) on 15 March 2017,
which supersedes the existing National Building Code of India 2005. NBC 2016 is the third revision to the base building
code released in the year 1970 and comes with the state-of-the-art and contemporary applicable international practices
for safe building construction. This sets a challenge for industries and commercial buildings to comply with the provisions
of the new code.

The code encompasses all the aspects vital for safe and orderly building development. The building that does not satisfy the
requirements put forward by the NBC or violates it, is bound to suffer penalty, cancellation of sanction/permits or demolition.
Through this two days capacity building workshop on National Building Code 2016, ERM is trying to build the capacity among
the management team members of any organization to pro-actively comply with the provisions set-up by the new building code.
The participant will be able to analyze the changes brought in by the new code vs its practical implementable solutions.
