VHF/HF CPDLC
To strengthen the monitoring to flights on route segment of B330 from Yabrai (YBL) to MORIT (N42 02.0 E102 49.0 ), all
FANS1/FANS A capable aircraft operating on this route is required to manually LOG ON to the ADS ground system with CPDLC
capability in Lanzhou ACC (AFN address, ZLLL) 15 minutes prior to the pilot estimated time of entering the route segment and to
LOG OUT when leaving the route segment. The pilot of FANS1/FANS A capable aircraft shall be trained appropriately to be qual-
ified for it.
The air traffic control service provided on this route is procedure control, still based on the VHF/HF voice communication. CPDLC
is only used for communication trial at present, not for realistic application in ATC operation.
