Hi there! I'm The Present Continuous Guy. I'm
here to tell you what I'm doing at the moment
because my life is changing a lot these days.
Now I'm not studying, butI'm working in a
Body Piercing Tattoo shop. I like tattoos. At
the moment I'm wearing nine tattoos and ten
piercings.

At present I'm playing the guitar in a heavy


metal group called "Metal Bananas".

This evening I' m playing with some friends in


Marbella in a birthday party. I' m going out
with a girl, but she's working in the disco
today. She isn't coming with me to the party.
Are you coming with me guys?

The verb to be in present simple always goes with me in

affirmative, negative and interrogative sentences +a


verb ending in ING. So, DONT FORGET the verb to be,
please! I cannot go anywhere without it.

Present Continuous Game

Our choice of clothes depends on where we live. The whole world is full of fun,
colourful and unusual items that people use as clothes.
Can you imagine an Eskimo wearing a bathing suit or someone living on a tropical
island wearing a heavy cool coat?
In Scotland kilts are appropriate for men to wear on special occasions. Princes
Charles, Phillip and William are just a few men who wear kilts with pride.
Grass skirts are used at dances and celebrations in Hawaii and the Polynesian
Islands.
In very cold climates people use animal skins to make jackets and pants to help
them keep warm. They usually wear the fur on the inside and the leather skin on the
outside.
Many Eastern Indian women wear a sari, a piece of cloth wrapped around the
body. There are special steps to drape a sari.
Some native people in South America, Australia or Africa find that a small loin
cloth is all of the clothing that they need. To us this may be unusual, but this style of
dress is comfortable for them and very natural.
High fashion clothing is what you see on a Paris runaway. Look at the designs
that cost thousands of dollars and then imagine what a person from the Amazon
rainforest may think about it. Some of our expensive, modern clothing might really be
the strangest clothes at all.
