Arizona legislation on immigration and talk of repeal of 14th Amendment have generated a great deal of
bitterness among the Latinos. It is a feeble attempt on the part of one state to stem the tide of immigrants
across the border. I am very much convinced about the eventual Latinization of the USA so much so
legislation, discussion of the legality or the illegality of immigration and repeal of the 14th Amendment
are an exercise in futility. You simply cannot do anything about it. It is the nature of change. It is of the
nature of tsunami. No power can stand against it. It is the destiny of the Americas. It is a force that no
man, no state, no country and not even god can withstand. Securing the border is self-defeating illusion
with a limited success. The enduring compulsion of people to move across the border will devise ways and
means to defeat all means to secure the border. The disparity of wealth, chronic unemployment, and
cheap labor are the driving force. You can build walls, erect electric fences, fly unmanned aerial vehicles,
walk the dogs, post a guard every two feet at the border, call on citizens to snoop and tell, instruct the law
to stop, harass and enforce; nothing is going to help. No amount of stringent measures to forestall
movement of immigrants across the border is going to help. One has to accept that there is no permanent
solution to this predicament. One should learn to manage it wisely. You cannot blot the sun. You cannot
stop the tides. You cannot quell the ocean waves. The legislators forget that unregulated European
immigrants populated this young nation for a long time. It is like the case of the last immigrant wishing
that he is the last immigrant to this nation and all immigration should stop forthwith, no exceptions. Bible
says that the meek will inherit the earth. The future is here. This immigration is only a forerunner of the
future of the USA--Latinization. Learn to live with it. We have seen the inexorable transformation of this
nation: Native Americans to Pilgrims, indentured white immigrants, deracination and forced African
immigration, George Washington (Potus 1789-1797), Immigration from Europe, colored immigration
from Asia..., emancipation (01/01/1863), 13th Amendment in 1865, 14th Amendment in 1868, Women's
suffrage in 1920, Civil Rights Act of 1964, and Abraham Lincoln (Potus 1861-1865) to Barack Obama.
Latinization is part of this process; not anticipating this natural development is having the head in the
sand. The democrats have an understanding of this situation and act accordingly. The republicans refuse
to acknowledge this, until they get a kick in the ass, savor loss in the elections now or in the future and
face unceremonious ejection by oppositional Latin vote from the senate and the house. That does not
mean the nation has to go supine. Just be awake to the reality. Just get the taste of the future: America
imported 645,000 forced immigrants from Africa (1619----; the population swelled to 4 million in 1860;
in 2010, the black Americans constitute 40 million. These numbers give us an idea of the prospects of
Hispanic population growth over coming years, decades and centuries. The Supreme Court has Clarence
Thomas, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan. Clarence Thomas had solid support of the Republicans. The
other two are in without their support. That should tell the Republicans something: You have to change
with the times. If the country, the president, and the Supreme Court are any indication, America is visibly
moving from WASP -White Anglo-Saxon Protestant to BASP-Balanced American Sapient Person.

Hispanic/Latino population in the USA is close to 61 million in which are included the 11 million
undocumented persons.

The Meek Shall Inherit the Earth
