Father God,
Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastor Ron and his
family. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is flowing
through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with
me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great You are and how much I
love You. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed in my body and my soul.

The Holy Ghost gives us power and boldness to be effective
witnesses for Jesus.
Acts 1:8, You shall receive power when the Holy Ghost
comes upon you and you will be witnesses.
The Spirit of God comes to live inside us to help us live our lives free
from the power of sin. The Spirit of God comes on us at the baptism
of the Spirit for the purpose of ministering to others. Most people dont
witness because they are afraid, but the Holy Ghost will take the chicken
out of you.
Peter was a disciple of Jesus, but when soldiers took Jesus and crucified
Him, Peter became very afraid and acted like he didnt even know
Jesus. This did not surprise Jesus. In fact, Peter was one of the first
people He visited when He rose from the dead. Forty days later Jesus
left the disciples again, but first he told them to go to Jerusalem and wait
for the Promise of the Father, and they would receive power from on
high. This is what we call the Day of Pentecost.
On that day, Peter with 120 other believers were filled with the Holy
Ghost; power from Heaven came upon them. There was a mighty wind
and they all began to speak in tongues. Some outside heard them and
thought they were drunk, but Peter stood before them, a new man filled
with power. He boldly preached and 3,000 people were saved. Peter
was changed by the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost will anoint us with the
power and boldness to save others.
