28
Basic & Tools - 3DMine Indonesia

which is constituted by two groups of parallel lines with certain steps. The 3D grid is
a orthogonal grid which is constituted by three groups (X Y Z) lines with certain steps.
By visualizing the "coordinates grid" you can find the coordinates relation and the
distance between points, strings, solids etc. It plays a key role in sections cutting and
ore extrapolating.

View>>Coordinates grid>>2D grid

(1) Run view>>coordinates grid>>2D grid or click , the following dialog

box appears:

X/Y direction step distance -- grid's length on X/Y direction.

to your own operating practices. In general, the Z-rotation is easier to control graphics,
in return the spheric rotation is more flexible.

www.3dmineindonesia.com Page
30
Basic & Tools - 3DMine Indonesia

View>>Left mouse button rotation>>Spherical rotation

Rotate spherically means that you can rotate in any X Y Z direction. This
rotational style is flexible, but it is more complicated to control the angle of rotation.

View>>Left mouse button rotation>>Rotate around Z axis

Z-rotation means rotating the Z axis only perpendicularly to the screen, the X and
Y axis remain without a rotation constraint.

View>>Left mouse button rotation>>Continuous rotate

Release the mouse button: the graphic is still at the same sliding trajectory and
mouse speed, until the user clicks again the left button or executes the command again,
to seize the rotation.

4.6 Create

3DMine is a 2D and 3D compatible software, is very intuitive for users to view

and create graphics at any state. 3DMine provides a variety of drawing tools,
commonly used drawing points, lines, polygons, text and annotation functions, mainly
in the "Create" menu. Meanwhile, the toolbar also designed the icon of these
common features. For users who often use graphics software, these functions are no
longer unfamiliar.

4.6.1 Section

"Section" is divided into a static and dynamic section. You can view the dynamic
section in any direction by controlling the 3D converter; the static section is created
by drawing lines, specified elevation or the specific section line, etc.
