WELCOME
Dear Friend,
As we conclude one year and welcome in a
fresh start it is an appropriate time to take stock
of our developments and achievements, and to
pray for help, guidance and success in areas we
need, as we commit to continued growth.
As a community we have thank G-d
continued to develop both quantitatively and
qualitatively, with growth in our membership
and attendance, and participation in our
services, classes and social events. The
highlight for our community this year, however,
was the joy and pride that came with our new
Sefer Torah, dedicated in March.
For the coming year we have chosen the
theme of Growth. In addition to the wonderful
programs and events our Synagogue and
community so enjoy, we are adding new ones,
based on your feedback: Back to Basics, a new
monthly class that focuses on empowering our
members to lead, from Kiddush to Grace After
-Proverbs 3:18
Meals at home. We are adding more community
social events that bring us together outside of
Synagogue, and CTeen, a new educational and
social program to engage our youth post Bat
and Bar Mitzvah.
We are blessed to be housed in St. Johns Wood
Synagogue, and are looking forward to working
more closely as a community over the coming
year, sharing the joys of what we both offer.
Let us enhance the roots you set and the
garden you tend to. Please join and partake of
the fruits that we have on offer, and share them
with others.

The Saatchi Synagogue is welcoming, interactive, engaging and full

of tunes. We consider Synagogue a journey bringing you closer to
G-d, yourself and community. Understanding what is going on and
participating is integral to help you have a meaningful and enjoyable
experience. Our Ruach Kabbalat Shabbat at private homes has become
a popular transition into Shabbat. Our Shabbat & Festival services
inspire all who attend, and are followed by a delicious Kiddush.

Our services are held in the Beit Midrash of St Johns Wood Synagogue
and are followed by delicious and friendly Kiddush. We also welcome
periodic guest speakers, and host a monthly Birthday Kiddush.
