Las rejillas tienen un patrn de malla cuadrado
para obtener resistencia multidireccional.
Cuando el rea de la malla es de 38x38 mm,
un 70% de sta queda abierta; un 72% en las
de 50 mm; un 12% en las de 19x19 mm; y un
12% en las 8x8 mm.
The grids have a square mesh pattern to obtain
multidirectional resistance.
When the size of the mesh is approximately 38x38 mm it leads
to an open area of 70%, the grids of 50mm, 72%; the grids of
19x19, 48%; and the grids of 8x8, 12%.

 ESCOM TIPOS DE CLIPS / INSTALACIN

La instalacin de Rejillas/Tramex de nuestra empresa es rpida contando con los accesorios complementarios.
Nosotros ofrecemos los servicios de diseo, corte e instalacin y/o de direccin de la instalacin en obra
colaborando con nuestros clientes para aplicar la mejor solucin econmica..................

INSTALACIN SOBRE PLATAFORMAS O PASILLOS:

1. El largo del borde de las rejillas se apoya sobre los perfiles soporte 40
mm, como mnimo. La separacin de dos rejillas despus de su instalacin
no debe superar los 6 mm; la separacin entre la rejilla y la capa de hormign
ser de 10 mm como mximo.

2. La rejillas sern ancladas por un mnimo de cuatro clips tipo M al soporte

de apoyo, los bordes de dos rejillas no apoyadas deben unirse por clips tipo
C a una distancia de 1,8 m como mximo.

INSTALACIN SOBRE VANOS O ZANJAS:

Tipo M / M Type
1. Segn la dimensin de las mallas de la rejilla, es preferible ajustar la
mismas con el fin de que una vez cortadas las mallas queden completas o
cerradas.

2. El ancho de la banda soporte de las rejillas sobre la lamina de hormign

debe ser como mnimo de 40 mm. El juego entre la rejilla y el hormign
ser de 3/6 mm.

INSTALACIN DE ESCALERAS:
1. Los peldaos deben instalarse en el interior de los perfiles soporte
formando su estructura que puede ser de acero o de PRFV.

2. El juego entre el peldao y el ngulo de apoyo debe ser de 3 a 6 mm.
Tipo M / M Type La rejilla peldao debe anclarse con 2 clips por cada lado...........

3. Los clips suministrados por nuestra empresa son en M y C. Los clips M

sirven para posicionar la rejilla sobre la estructura soporte, los clips en C son
para conectar los borde de las rejillas. Tenemos a su disposicin tornillos,
tuercas, arandelas, etc.

MANTENIMIENTO DE LAS REJILLAS:

La limpieza de la superficie de las rejillas con un detergente es suficiente.

1. Mantener las rejillas lejos de la llama y de los equipos de oxicorte, procurar

no exponer las rejillas a temperaturas superiores a las recomendadas en las
especificaciones.
Tipo C / C Type 2. Evitar el movimiento de objetos duros sobre las rejillas y el choque de
herramientas cortantes.

3. No verter aceites, grasas y cualquier otro liquido cido o bsico que los
indicados en la tabla de resistencia a la corrosin, segn la concentracin
y la temperatura mxima de servicio.
 ESCOM CLIP TYPES / INSTALLATION

SURFACE INSTALLATION:

1.There is a minimum left of 4 mm for Grating bearing steel a 6mm

space between Gratings, and 10mm space between the Gratings and
cement.

2. Use M type clip to fix between the Grating and the bearing steel;
use at lease 4 clips for each Grating; Use C type clip between non-
bearing Gratings and at least 1 clip for each 1.8m length Grating. Tipo C / C Type

TRENCH INSTALLATION:

1. The trench size should be times, if possible, of the lattice size to

keep the completeness of the lattice and beauty of the trench.

2. There should be at least 40mm space cement ground for bearing

the grating and 3mm-6mm space between the grating and the
cement.

STAIR INSTALLATION:

1. The stair should be installed in the tread frame. The tread frame
could be either steel or FRP.

8 2. There should be 3 mm - 6 mm space between the step and the

frame. Each step needs 8 clips to clip and 2 clips for each angle.
Tipo M / M Type

3. There are two types of clips: M type and C type, with different use.
The M type clip will be used between grating and bearing steel to
locate the grating. The C type clip will be used between grating side
an grating side. The clip spare parts (such as bold, gasket, etc.) are
also available.

MAINTENANCE:

1. No need maintenance except washing surface dust and dirt with

washing detergent is enough.

2. Prevent any open fire caused by electric and oxygen welding when
repairing or maintaining the bearing steel and equipment. Tipo M / M Type
3. Prevent contamination by oil and knocking by sharp and solid tools
when repairing or maintaining the bearing steel and equipment.

Si consideramos las ventajas de las rejillas y los perfiles de PRFV

en ambientes agresivos podemos llegar a la conclusin de que
su aplicacin como elementos de carpintera decorativa, de
diseo en el sector de la construccin en general y en lugares
cercanos a las costas en par ticular, es indiscutible.

Fachadas, falsos techos, barandas de proteccin, vallas, etc.

constituyen una nueva dimensin en la aplicacin de estos
materiales. Su tratamiento contra UV, no ser conductores
elctricos y calorficos, poco peso, su nulo mantenimiento,
adems de cumplir M1 F1 a la propagacin de la llama y
humo, les confiere una serie de ventajas que los hacen
idneos como elementos complementarios en la
construccin.

If we consider the advantages of GRP gratings and profiles in aggressive atmospheres we could reach the
conclusion that their application as elements for decorating carpentry, design in the construction field in general
and in places next to coasts in particular, is indisputable.

Facades, false ceiling, protection handrails, fences, etc. make up a new dimension in the application of these
materials. Their treatment against UV, the fact of not being electric and thermal conductors, light weight, no
maintenance and meet the M1 F1 class of protection against flame and smoke spreading confer them a series 9
of advantages and make them to be suitable as additional elements for the construction.

 ESCOM PERFILES PRFV / GPR PROFILES

Perfiles Estructurales Pultrusionados:

La pultrusin es una mezcla en continuo que consiste en

impregnar fibras de vidrio con resinas de polister o duroplsticas.
Las fibras de vidrio bajo forma de rovings (hilos sin fin), de mats
o de tejidos son, en primer lugar, impregnados, despus tiradas
por una hilera recalentada y finalmente polimerizadas. El material
adopta su forma final dentro de la hilera.
Posteriormente no se pueden deformar, ya que se trata de resinas
termoendurecidas. Los hilos de vidrio sin fin resisten el esfuerzo
de la tensin, compresin y desviacin. Actualmente estos
materiales estn reemplazando al aluminio, la madera y el acero
en un amplio espectro de aplicaciones estructurales. Esto est
produciendo un cambio de mentalidad en la ingeniera, ya que
los materiales pultrusionados son un recambio ideal para los
enrejados y estructuras tradicionales dentro de los entornos
industriales y corrosivos (su peso es 4 veces menor y su duracin
est calculada en 10 veces ms que el acero).

Pultrusioned Structural Profiles:

Pultrusion is a continuous mixing process (previous drawing) that

10 consists of soaking fiberglass in the form of rovings (non-end threads),

mattes or weavings, etc. with polyester resins or duroplastic to
subsecuently, and though a reheated row, be stretched and
polymerized adopting the shape preconceived in the use design. The
result in profiles are nonshrinking, and resisting in an unsurpassable
way the stress caused by the voltage, compression or shock.
The previous picture does not show a steel structure. It is a structure
assembled with pultrusioned structural profiles. At this time, wood,
aluminium, steel with epoxy layers or galvanized are being replaced
by structural profiles of GRP for a wide range of industrial applications.
This is changing the stand point of engineering businesses, since
pultrusioned materials are ideal replacements for the grillage and
traditional structures within the industrial and corrosive envioraments.
Compared with steel, its weight is 4 times less, and its aging range is
10 times higher.

Las innovadoras escaleras de seguridad

ESCOM, fabricadas con resinas de polister
reforzado con fibra de vidrio, crean un sistema
que ofrece una larga vida y un servicio
prcticamente sin mantenimiento. Todos los
perfiles que intervienen en la fabricacin de
estas escaleras tienen una propagacin a la
llama de 25 o inferior segn el test ASTM 84.
Son resistentes a la corrosin y elctricamente
no conductores. Tienen buena rigidez y una
excelente resistencia a los golpes y a la fatiga,
no existiendo deformaciones permanentes por
sobrecarga. Junto con las escaleras, se incluyen
elementos de instalacin como, ngulos de
fijacin a suelo, fijacin de soporte a pared y
tornillera de ensamblaje.

The innovative security staircases of ESCOM,

manufactured with polyester resin and reinforced
with fiberglass, create a system that provides long
life and service with practically no maintenance
required. All the profiles involved in the
14 manufacturing of these staircases have a flame
spread of 25 or less according to the ASTM 84 test.
They are resistant to corrosion and electricity non-
conductive. They assure proper stiffness, excellent
stress resistance to overloads. Installation
elements are included with the staircase, including
floor fixation angles, wall support profiles an
assembly screws.
 ESCOM BARANDILLAS / HANDRAILS
La falta de una norma respecto a las barandillas
en materiales composites (resina de polister y
fibra de vidrio) hace que ESCOM utilice como
referencia la Norma AFNOR NF 85 101 ELEMENTOS
DE APLICACIN INDUSTRIAL, BARANDILLAS
METLICAS.
Esta norma fija las prescripciones relativas a la
fabricacin, a las dimensiones y a los ensayos de
las barandillas metlicas para las instalaciones
fijas, desmontables y mviles (ver nuestro manual).
Los campos de aplicacin de las barandillas son
principalmente las instalaciones y edificios
industriales, en los cuales por razn de seguridad
es conveniente proteger a las personas.
La Norma no se aplica en lugares pblicos, ni en
instalaciones mviles como los ascensores o en
las instalaciones y sealizacin ferroviaria tales
como los mstiles, pescantes o prticos que son
objeto de especificaciones par ticulares.

The lack of a standard regarding handrails made from
composites materials (polyester resins and fiberglass)
has prompted Escom to use the Standard NF 85 101
INDUSTRIAL APLICATION ELEMENTS, METALLIC
HANDRAILS as reference.
This standard sets the prescriptions relative to the
manufacturing,dimensions and test for metallic
handrails, for fixed detachable and mobile installations
(check our manual). The fields of application of the
handrails are mainly industrial installations and
buildings, in which it is appropiate to protect persons for
safety reasons.
The Standard is not applicable in public areas, in mobile
instalations like elevators, or in railway installations and
signaling, where the masts, booms and gantry are the
object of precise especifications.

A igualdad de rigidez un soporte con perfiles ESCOM
pesa unas cuatro veces menos que su equivalente en
acero. Esta disminucin de peso significa ahorro en el
transporte, montaje y en los elementos que son
sometidos a frecuentes mantenimientos.
No magnticos, no conductores. Estos perfiles ofrecen
un excelente aislamiento elctrico y trmico.
En el diseo de estos perfiles, se han tomado en
consideracin todas las caractersticas que se le exigen
a un larguero, principalmente de rigidez longitudinal,
la flexin de las alas y la resistencia a los esfuerzos
transversales. Destinados a ser utilizados en entornos
claramente agresivos, estn estabilizados con rayos
UV y con barrera anticorrosiva sobre la superficie
externa. En funcin de los esfuerzos requeridos, la
eleccin del perfil que se va a utilizar es como hacer
la eleccin de un perfil de acero: fciles de montar,
sencillos de cortar o perforar, todas la pequeas
instalaciones realizadas habitualmente con carpintera
clsica (plataformas, pasarelas, rellanos, soportes para
equipos qumicos, tabiques aislantes, etc.) se
ensamblan actualmente partiendo de perfiles
estructurales ESCOM.
With the same stiffness, a support with Escom
profiles weighs 4 times less that its equivalent in
steel. This weight decrease implies savings in
transport, assembly and its elements that are
subjected to frequent maintenance.
Non-magnetic and non-conductive, these profiles
offer excellent electric and thermal insulation.
When designing of these profiles, all the
characteristics required by a longitudinal beam have
been considered, especially longitudinal stiffness,
the bending of the wings and the resistance to cross
stresses. They are destined for use in aggressive
environments, and they are stabilized with UV rays,
with an anticorrosive barrier over the external
surface. Depending on the stress required, the
selection of the profile to use is similar like choosing
a steel profile: easy to assemble, easy to cut and
perforate, all the small installation normally carried
out through classic carpentry (platforms, gatewais,
landings, supports fer chemical equipment
insulating partitions, etc.) are currently assembled
from structural ESCOM profiles.

Direccin de apertura
Para determinar la direccin de apertura, a la
izquierda (L) o a la derecha (R), hay que
imaginarse que nos dirigimos desde la escalera
hacia la pasarela o plataforma, de tal manera
que la puerta se aleja de nosotros. Si la posicin
deseada de la bisagra se encuentra a nuestra
derecha, se desea una puerta a la derecha (R).
Instalacin
Las puertas de seguridad estn siempre pre-
montadas. Es suficiente con realizar 4 taladros
(2 para la bisagra y 2 para el soporte) para
instalar la puerta de una manera rpida y fcil.
La barra puede cortarse fcilmente a la
longitud deseada.

La tabla adjunta se utiliza, en el caso de una fijacin a

la barandilla cuadrada o rectangular, para determinar
el formato de la puerta. Para barandillas cilndricas,
puede ser necesario una barra ms larga. Esto depende
del mtodo de montaje.
300 - 560 The enclosed Chart is used to determine the doors format,
561 - 685 for securing to a square or rectangular handrail. For
686 - 810 cilindrycal handrails, a longer bar may be necesary. This
811 - 940 depends on the method of assembly.
Opening direction
To determinate the opening direction, to the left (L) or to
the right (R), it is neccesary to imagine that we go from
the staircase to the walkway or platform, so the door
moves away from us. If the hinge position desired is to our
right, a door is required to the right (R).
Installation
The security doors are always pre-assembled. You only
need to drill 4 holes ( 2 for the hinge and 2 for the support)
to install the door quickly and easily. The bar can easily
be cut to the length needed.
