David Weeks 2017

New York designer David Weeks founded the studio in
1996 as an umbrella for his diverse interests, which range

from metal fabrication techniques to contemporary
toy culture.
Over the past two decades, a core grouping of elemental

lighting fixtures has evolved into a diverse collection also
featuring upholstered seating, side tables, and sculptural
objects with a simpatico sense of materiality and detailing.
The opening of the Tribeca storefrontone part gallery, one
part creative labnow provides an opportunity to show-
case the full breadth of our collaborations and capabilities.
The studio celebrates its twentieth anniversary with the

launch of a new lighting collection. OTTO is the brands eighth
collection, amplifying our signature design languagea play
of levity, balance and reductionto a more extreme expression.
The milestone also coincides with a move from our original
location in Dumbo to a purpose-built production facility in
Bedford-Stuyvesant. After two decades, the studio remains
New York-based and Brooklyn-made.
