With the unpeaceful condition of the capital town of the province, THE
KALINGA BODONG CONGRESS in 1989 declared barangays BULANAO
AND DAGUPAN as matagoan or zone of life.

SIGNIFICANT RESULTS
218 cases were resolved amicably since 2001 to
date, declogging the dockets of the courts.
18 dornats (warming up of the Bodong) were
conducted under the auspices of the MBCC
Economic Activities perked up as a result of the
improved Peace and order situation of Tabuk.
Students are no longer disturbed in their studies.
It generated active participation of all Peace
stake holders

THE MATAGOAN PROGRAM IS NOW
INSTITUTIONALIZED THROUGH CITY ORDINANCE
NO. 03, SERIES OF 2011 WHICH PROVIDED
REGULAR FUNDS THEREOF FOR ITS OPERATION.
