ESSCA offers places in 4 residences. Accommodation will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. You can
only apply for accommodation once you have registered as an ESSCA student, you will be sent an online link to register
when you have done this. Before making your choice you can check the photos and ask former students for feedback using
our Facebook page. Application before deadlines:

OPTION 1

RESIDENCE DE LA MAINE : 18 alle Franois Mitterrand, 49100 ANGERS

(town centre, next door to Fac Habitat)
TYPE OF ACCOMMODATION OFFERED
Furnished individual bedroom with en suite bathroom + shared kitchen for 3 to 4 persons, hobs,
individual fridge, table & chairs, kitchenware, microwaves, duvet and pillow
Rent all inclusive from 414 to 463 / month / person depending on the size of the bedroom
Furnished studio 18 m: 1 room with hobs, fridge, table, chair, desk, single bed, en-suite
bathroom. (limited number)
Rent all inclusive 451 / month / person

Bring an electrical adaptor for your computer & appliances

Please note there is no kitchenware, duvets or pillows in the studios
Bring towels and bed sheets. (single: 1.90m x 0.9m or double: 1.90m x 1.40)
Washing machines available at the residence cost is around 3 per wash, 1 per dry
Utilities and high speed internet are included in the rent. Students need their own RJ45 or Ethernet cable to access the internet
Upon arrival, you will need to buy home insurance (help will be provided by the Welcome Team)
Rent should be paid directly to the residence. Students arriving later will still need to pay for the entire month of January / August
Underground car parking available for 21 / month. (must be reserved in advance)
Bike storage FREE bike hire for 4 months from VloCit.
Please be aware that the residence is closed to visitors. You will be required to complete the online arrival form to inform ESSCA of your
date and time of arrival at the Angers train station. The Essca Welcome Team can collect your keys in advance and accompany you to
the residence.
Should you ever need to reserve a temporary accommodation; the Welcome Team will be able to help you with the reservation.
You must also book a check-in at the residence (email the residence manage: nathalie.lebrun@arpej.fr)
Reservation will be effective on payment of deposit and 100 administration fees. You will also need to complete the ARPEJ online
reservation and send your accommodation contract signed with a copy of your passport and Essca letter of acceptance.
 OPTION 2

FAC HABITAT Rsidence Internationale, 12 avenue des droits de lhomme,

Furnished studio 17 to 18m with microwaves, fridge, own bathroom with toilets.
Rent around 460 / month (Wi-Fi internet, electricity and heating included)

Kitchenware, bed linen and pillow included

Bring an electrical adaptor - if necessary - for laptops & appliances
Bring towels
Fitness room available in the residence
Washing machines available at the residence cost is around 3.50 per wash, 1.50 per dry
Upon arrival, you will need to buy home insurance (help will be provided by the Welcome Team) and pay your first rent, please make sure to have
sufficient funds.
Rent should be paid directly to the residence. Students arriving later will still need to pay from 16th August and for the entire month of January.
Your accommodation is available on the day of arrival, but only from Monday to Friday between 9 am to 12 pm and 1.00 pm to 5pm (admission is
closed on weekends).
Please be aware that the residence is closed to visitors. You will be required to complete the online arrival form to inform ESSCA of your date and
time of arrival at the Angers train station. The Essca Welcome Team can collect your keys in advance and accompany you to the residence.

OPTION 3

RESIDENCE VOLTA, 10 rue Lamarck, Angers

(Opposite the ESSCA Angers campus not in the town centre)

Furnished studio 18m with private bathroom & kitchenette. Rent around 344 / month. High speed internet (Wi-Fi),
water and heating included. Electricity (other than heating) is not included in the rent (assessed on personal use).

Compulsory set of duvet, pillow, duvet, pillow covers and bed linen at 25 payable with the first rent
Bring an electrical adaptor - if necessary - for your computer & appliances
Students should bring their own towels and kitchenware
Washing machines available at the residence
Car park and bike storage available FREE bike hire for 4 months from VloCit.
Rent should be paid directly to the residence. Students arriving later will still need to pay from 16th August and for the entire month of January.

Should you ever need to reserve temporary accommodation; the Welcome Team will be able to help you with the reservation.
Reservation will be effective on payment of 450 which includes a compulsory content insurance of 60 for the year and 30 for the semester and
a deposit. You will also be required to send your accommodation contract signed.

To get to ESSCA by bus you can take line 1, 4, 6 (15-20 minutes) or 14 (an express service
taking 10 minutes, only runs at certain times) to ESSCA.

If you would like to reserve, you will be required to pay a DEPOSIT by Bank transfer. Transfer
costs are at your expense.

Please note that rent may slightly be revised (from 1 to 2 / month) in January 2018.
