HEE is back! It has taken us longer than we wanted, but the dates are now confirmed and we
expect the event to be bigger and better than ever. The world's only event dedicated to the
practical application of heat exchange technology in the process
industries is scheduled for October 2017 in Kuala Lumpur.

If you have a heat exchange technology which you would like to

showcase at this highly-targeted event, why not submit a paper for
inclusion in the conference? The conference will bring together
technical specialists in the application of heat transfer in the process
industries, such as process and production engineers, plant
managers, exchanger designers, energy efficiency managers,
fabricators, maintenance engineers and equipment suppliers.
The conference provides the opportunity for participants to discuss
the application of heat exchange technology to enhance the
profitability of large-scale process plants. The focus will be on
increasing throughput, lowering energy use, reducing downtime,
increasing reliability and lowering environmental emissions. The
papers to be presented are by invitation from leading industrial
experts from around the world.
Conference speakers and delegates will also have the opportunity to
participate in the Heat Exchange Engineering Exhibition and meet
exchanger manufacturers, suppliers of thermal and mechanical
design services, software providers, system and integration
engineers, control and maintenance equipment engineers and
specialist publishers. The exhibition provides a comprehensive
showcase of services, products and the latest technological
developments from around the world together with the opportunity
to network, share and learn from other technical specialists.
The Heat Exchange Engineering (HEE)
Conference held in Bahrain, October 2014, was a
well-organized gathering that brought together
great minds with superior talent in the heat
transfer engineering discipline. Because of the
synergies created by such a meeting of HEE
experts, this superb event should be re-classified
as a "global summit" on heat exchange
engineering design and practice. I was honored
to have been invited to this preeminent
conference, and I look forward to participating
and contributing more at HEE events in the
future. The events diverse array of exciting and
innovative topics and experts will undoubtedly
enrich the body of knowledge pertaining to heat
exchange engineering, and the benefit will be of
paramount importance to both industry and
humanity.

Submission of papers

Contributors are invited to submit papers on subjects relating to best practice in the design,
operation, construction and maintenance of industrial heat exchangers, system design
optimisation and control. Wherever possible the papers should include case studies illustrating
the practical application of the subject matter.
All conference papers will have presentation and poster facilities. There will be an open poster
forum running alongside the conference serving as a discussion focus during coffee breaks.
