Amtrak foreman arrived approx. 90 min late and provided the safety briefing after the diagnostic review was
completed. Diagnostic review was completed exclusively from public roadway.

Install commercial power at crossing.


Install gates and flashers at both approaches and required signal bungalow. (The
Active Warning
northeast quadrant is highlighted for potential bungalow location, and would likely
require micropile foundation to minimize wetland impacts.)

Install retro reflectorized W-10s at both approaches.


Tree trimming is likely required at all quadrants. Sightlines are limited to approx.
Advance Warning 55' from tracks at the east approach, and 35' from tracks at the west approach due
to brush line.
Low clearance signs may be necessary.

Surface Replace panel through crossing.

Consider impacts of improvements and safety at other nearby pedestrian


Other
crossings (Bark Haul Road, Meadow Road).
