Motto: Experto crede, Believe the expert

Innovative Solutions Group is a fairly powerful, up-and-coming Hegemonic Pylon which is


styling themselves to be the iron core on which the Pyramid of Unity may be placed. They
believe that only those who have strong convictions and ambitions, rare and powerful
individuals, deserve to rule over the rest of the flock as they desire. To these ends they employ
several programs to weed out these individuals, as well as programs which would keep the
second-rate people docile and servile.

Kora, Prelate CEO

Kora was an heir to a fortune, burnt through her life with gleeful abandon, lost purposeless on
the waves of vice and vanity. She was slated to take over the company of her father in the case
of him being unable to continue, but she did not really have either the aim, the strength of
character, or the aptitude to not burn it into the ground, if that were to happen.

However, she was terribly full of herself, daydreaming of achievement vastly beyond her
capacity. She was arrogant and nave until a freak storm capsized her pleasure yacht, leaving
her the only survivor.

She became a Mage on that night, her soul ejected to Stygia, and it gave her a clarity of
purpose. There are people like her, the new her, with burning drive and terrible might, and
there is everyone else, who cannot change.

Alantha, Goeticist Advisor

Alantha is a young woman acting as the advisor to the leader of Innovative Solutions.

She was born in a middle-class family in a mediocre town in the middle of nowhere important.
She lived without worry until she was about 18 years old, but at that point things began to
change.

A lucky scholarship combined with her natural aptitudes, as well as Seers meddling with the life
of a rising academic star have seen her move to New York, obtain a stellar education and
quickly rise in one of the Solutions mortal schemes.

She became more important and was learning a lot of new skills. With determination and some
luck, she reached for the stars in a fantasy world And cut her hands open on their cold edges.
She awoke to the Tower of the Pandaemonic Gauntlet, rising to a well-earned position beyond
her wildest Sleeper dreams.

Anything could happen; she is currently still trying to perfect skills. She feels like there's more
to discover in this world. Luckily, she has a close group of friends to support and be supported
by.

But with her wits and brilliance, there's nothing to stop her from fulfilling all of her aspirations.
She could quickly become a force to be reckoned with.
Niseis, HR Rep

The HR Rep graduated magna cum laude from a prestigious business school and she didnt
have to bribe, intimidate, or sleep her way to flawless grades. She did those things so that she
could blackmail her professors after graduation.
Her Awakening merely encouraged her to become more of a soulless social predator, forever
seeking an angle to exploit.

At first glance, shes pretty, but something about her is deeply off-putting. Her voice is sharp
and hollow, utterly devoid of empathy. She drums her flawlessly manicured nails on her glass
desktop, like a metronome metering out the last few seconds before you acquiesce to her
terms. Her sculpted body and $300 salon hairstyle cant hide the fact that shes a shark in
human skin, and it shows in her every heartless mannerism.

As a consummate professional, Niseis will do whatever it takes to shift Sleeper resources to


wherever theyre most needed and, of course, most potentially profitable to her. Shell move
product for any willworker (Seer or otherwise), helping mages to meet their staffing needs, and
shell throw in what it takes to get a client to agree to her price: a couple of disposable thugs, a
pretty young secretary, a genius accountant even a night with the HR Rep herself. But what
she wants in return isnt anything as banal as money. She wants power, whether in the form of
enchanted relics, service, binding oaths, or something similar.

Escher, the New Arrival

Escher, once in the past known as Aaron Bernstein, has never been very right. He originates
from the influential Bernstein family, and has the family, taste, demeanor, and cash to
demonstrate it. As a young man, he went to the best private school cash could get him into. He
was seen by instructors as profoundly smart though socially frosty young fellow with incredible
potential. He was never in a bad position, and his class seemed to like him. He graduated with
highest honours with no one to question his grades. He attended a prestigious school of
business, and soon became heir apparent to his families multi-billion-dollar company. He
became CEO at a surprisingly young age after his parents private jet was lost over the sea. Until
that happened he had been a reserved yet happy person. After that though... something broke
inside of him. He became stone faced and gruff. Sure, when he was schmoozing with the
aristocrats he would portray emotions... yet many soon found that his emotions were odd...in
spite of the fact that they appeared to be sufficiently genuine, something about them was false.

He searched for purpose in his life, cruising with abandon, until he turned to occultism.
Eventually, with enough donations and effort invested into the secret handshakes and studying
stuffy esoterica, Aaron got inducted into the local masonic lodge. When he was finalizing the
rite of presentation, he was thrown headfirst into the crucible fires of the Aethers oceans. The
angels showed him the truth of the last moments of his parents. He relived that fiery crash and
the Aethers pressure hundreds of times before he touched the Golden Key, his white-hot
fingers drawing deep furrows in its orichalcum-mirrored surface.

When he came back, the rite was still ongoing. After his induction, a woman came up to him
and asked to speak to him in private. They moved to an office in the masonic temple, and the
older woman asked him what he saw. Darren was less than honest and a good liar... but she
saw each lie and finally Darren spoke the truth. The man urged him to never reveal his name
and said that there were others who would wish to meet him tonight. That night Aaron became
Escher and was introduced to the Seers.

Since his presentation, he has joined the Hegemonic. go has done his best to keep his company
running smoothly, and has in fact managed it so well he has a nearly unlimited spending
budget.
