Were the instructional materials categorized under educational technologies? How were they
used effectively in the teaching and learning process?
For me, yes the instructional materials used by the teacher were under educational
technology, because using graphics and presenting power point during the class
discussion, increases student interest, and it is more accessible to a greater number
of students. The appropriateness and authenticity of the instructional tools used by
the teacher engaged the students to have an effective teaching-learning process.
There are collaboration among students and teacher.
Describe the teaching practices employed in the class. How did it expand students acquisition
of 21st century skills?
I think, teachers presentation or the type of teaching method employed was more
accurate, authentic and interesting than the pencil and paper kind of teaching
because by posing graphics and problem solving through power point presentation,
student acquire a lot of information and techniques in solving problems because
there are more senses that are used during the teaching-learning process. Learners
developed not only their intuitive thinking but also their imagination and critical
thinking skills. Students become divergent thinkers.
