Day 1

Discuss about the breeders and after that we go to the piggery and observe everything.

Objectives:
Raising livestock
Proper growing
Maintain cleanliness

Observation:
The piggery house is good for raising the products of swine. And in the inside of it , it is
good because they have proper feeder and have automatic drinker and also when you
entered inside there is a foot bathing for the purpose of disinfectant. There are many
grasses in the outside of the piggery . This is one of the problem.

Recommendation:
I recommend to clean regularly the outside of the piggery to avoid vermins and pests
will live. And make sure the health of the animals/swine will safe and also when you
built a piggery house make sure that it is far from the houses to avoid bad odors
.
Conclusion:
I conclude that making piggery house is good business but make sure that it is far from
the communities /barangays. And make sure that you will provide the needs of our
animals (swine) for you to success.

Day 2
Discussion about goats

Goats
a hardly domesticated ruminant that has backward curving horns and (in the male) a
beard.
goat milk are rich in protein and closer to human milk.
many activities we did in goat farm like deworming and getting blood samples , getting
temperature, injected vitamins and castrate goat

Castration
remove the testicles of (male animal or man)

Objectives:
To maintain the health of our animals (goat)
To protect from diseases and parasites
To increase the immune system
For safety growing system

Observation:
The goat farm is good for growing and raising breeds of goat because it have a standard
where goat animals are safe.

Recommendation:
I recommend to much improve the farm areas lke changing the backyard and changing
some destroyed post.

Conclusion:
I conclude that when we grow and raising goat meat or milk will make sure that you
have a proper areas and clean the surroundings and also you can provide the needs of
your animals. These for you will gain and success to your work.

Day 3
Maintain housing farm areas/ making silage

Silage

Method:
Prepare grasses and cutting materials
Grasses are chopped into small pieces and can packed to get out as much oxygen
This is important because the micro organisms called lactic acid that are needed to carry
out the fermentation like living in oxygen-free environments
Seal the compacted grass to keep oxygen out

Observation:
After many days past, the silage that we compact have a small water and the smell has
change also the color are changed into brown and also have a black colored.

Recommendation:
I recommend that we used silage when we have a big farm aid to save food
management.

Conclusion:
I conclude that when you doing or making a silage , make sure that you have a materials
needed to make it perfect and have a safe area to be place all your work. Therfore, you
will be happy about the result ofall and supply the needs of your farm area.
