promoting technical and vocational education and creating employment opportunities to young people,
programme planning, Implementation and follow up, managing external relations and reporting, through
managing country wide program called One School One Country, also, I am facilitating the work of the
task force for OSOC programme, which includes (MOE, Education Council and some other entities.
Prior to that and for 4 years, I worked as a consultant for the USAID, UNICEF, UNFPA, and
UNESCO. I worked as team leader for a group of consultant with UNDP for like one year and a half.
My work with the United Nations was focused on coordinating and implementing diverse programs,
analyzing data, developing project proposals besides working with implementing partners. My work was
focused also on compacting child labor and increasing youth participation in public life, Education,

with local government in order to promote our objectives and keeping a very good relation with them.
During the years 2010- 2012, I worked for the Danish organization for international cooperation,
at that time I was given the chance to manage the Jordan country programmes that promote youth civic
engagement, women empowerment and creating employment opportunity. At the same time I supported
the establishment of the programme in Egypt and Lebanon. Furthermore I worked as a line manager for
the projects coordinators. Supporting the organization strategy development and partnerships. my work
include also the fund management and donner reports.

During 2013 I received a diploma from the European council on developing policies. The Diploma
has already further developed my skills in the areas of strategy and innovation and widened my
professional network regionally and globally. Also it helped me a lot in developing policy
recommendations for UNESCO on the post 2015 sustainable objectives.

I am applying to this post because I am familiar with International organization work and very familiar
with the Syrian situation and the regional context, both cultural and political. I have the skills to follow
up, report, and generate ideas and creating bridges between stakeholders in order to achieve the
mandate. Add to that I have a very good experience in management and supporting the projects teams
and supporting the local government and partners in finding their own path to achieve the joint
objectives.

Emergency and humanitarian is an area of work that I am very passionate about and experienced in. Not
only that I have worked for UN agencies in Zatari camp and host communities for few years it is
because I was a part of different national projects and committees at local and regional level. I am also
experienced in managing diverse teams, working with counterparts, donners, and establishing
partnerships and sustain it are areas of work that I particularly enjoy and excel in.

I do believe in Secours Islamique mission in spreading knowledge, skills and supporting the local
government and communities to find their own paths to develop their nations. I see development as
widening people choices. And I see it as a main part of the humanitarian work. I am applying today and
I will be committed to Secours Islamique mission and vision in supporting Syrian stakeholders to
response effectively to the emergency situation they are facing and creating hope for the young
generation.
