Week of
September 5, 2017
Reading: This week we will finish our unit on
Human Rights. We will begin reading our
core lit. book, Esperanza Rising in which
students will then practice building their
ability to read challenging text closely as
relating it with all weve learned about
Human Rights.
We will also continue reading Wonder by RJ
Palacio which will allow us to learn how to
be kind to one another.
Math: This week in math we will review
place value and move on to adding and
subtracting decimal. Please encourage
your child to persevere when they come
upon a problem that is difficult at first. As
always, we are continuing to work on
writing about math.
Science/Social Studies:
