entitled “Proposed Solid Waste management Scheme for Barangay

Cagsao, Calabanga, Camarines Sur”. In the study, residents practice

burning of wastes that include plastic, dried leaves etc. which is

harmful to human health and environment, residents have poor

knowledge and are not fully oriented on proper waste. They are also

not guided on how to dispose waste properly. Some respondents do

proper practices such as selling bottles, tins, cans, papers to

movable junkshops since the barangay does not have one. Some

burning of waste and open dumping that creates air pollution.
