FINDINGS
WORK EXPERIENCE: The study observe that 42% of respondents are having
their experience between 2-5 years.

AGE GROUP OF RESPONDENTS: In the study 48% of the respondents


belong to the age group between 20-25 years.

WORKING HOURS: The study found that majority of employees (52%)are


working more than 9 hours a day.

INDIVIDUAL FACTORS: The study observes that personality of an employee


is important in balancing the work and life.

ORGANISATIONAL FACTORS: Work arrangement and job stress are the


major factors influencing the work life balance of employees.

SOCIAL FACTORS: The study found that child care and responsibilities and
family support has much importance in balancing the work and life.

ABSENTEEISM: The study observe that (38%) of respondents agreed that the
work life balance policies reduces the rate of absenteeism.

JOB STRESS: In the study (36%) of the respondents says that the work life
balance will help to reduce the stress level

EMPLOYEE RELATION: The study observes that (34%) of the respondents


agree that the balance create good employee relation, the company is enjoying
good employee relation.

LIFE SATISFACTION: In the study (38%) of the respondents are in an opinion


of work life balance can create life satisfaction.

JOB SECURITY: The study observe that (46%) of respondents agree that the
job security help to balance work and life.
OVER ALL COST: The study says that (32%) of the respondents agree that
satisfied employees can reduce the overall cost through better performance.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Through the study found that a positive work


environment can create a positive work life balance.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH: In the study (36%) of the respondents


agree that the work life balance policies help employees to achieve good
physical and mental health

BARRIERS: The study observe that majority of the respondents agrees the
organisational culture and the time limits are the major barriers for attaining the
work life balance.

GENDER PERCEPTION: The study observes that majority of the respondents


agree that the gender perception is not a barrier for attaining work life balance

CHI SQUARE TEST: By using Chi-square test it was proved that there is
significant relationship between motivation, job satisfaction and productivity.

RANK ORDERING METHOD: By using rank ordering method it was found


that employees personality, job stress and work arrangement are the major
factors affecting the effectiveness of the organisation.
8. RECOMMENDATIONS
MENTORING: Necessary to develop and maintain a good personality for
getting adaptive with the changing organisational needs, and the coaching
should be done based on the need of the individual.

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Following a defined system will help to reduce the


role conflict and job stress

ALTERNATIVE SOLUTIONS: In case of emergencies the work from home


facilities help the employees to get rid from the over stress

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Through creating a positive work environment


helps to improve the productivity.

WORK STRESS: The stress level of the employees can be reduced by providing
refreshment programs

MOTIVATION: The level of motivation should be increased to improve the


productivity through proper reward system

ORGANISATIONAL CULTURE: Changes in the organisational culture such


as the management style, working environment, leave system etc helps the
employee to attain work life balance.

DISTRIBUTION OF WORK: The stress level can be reduced through


distribution of work and through employing sufficient employees

JOB SECURITY: providing job security will help to retain the employees and
provide job satisfaction
9. CONCLUSION
The project study was conducted at TWIN INFO SOLUTIONS was
established in the year 2006. Headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is
spearheaded by T. S. Kaladharan on the year 1995, offers integrated freight
forwarding and logistics solutions.
The study helped to analyse the Work Life Balance of Employees. And also
the study was examine to identity the factors influencing the work life balance
of the employees and its benefits and the various barriers for attaining the work
life balance.
The study observe that there is strong relationship between job satisfaction,
motivation and productivity, proper training, colleague support and employees
attitude toward job etc., is very high in the organisation. Most of the employees
are able to balance their work and life and some of them are neutral in opinion.
On the basis of analysis and inference it was found that proper work
arrangement, reduced stress level and motivation will improve the performance
and productivity of the employees. Hence the study concluded that the self-
management is important and work life balance have desired effect on both
employees and the company
