2015 Current: Head Child Support Officer - County of Los Angeles Child Support Services
Currently responsible for overseeing the operations of a child support enforcement section.
Within these duties are operating as a project manager, planning, assigning and scheduling
work for subordinate staff. As a project manager; directly responsible for planning,
executing and closing projects including recommends the policies, procedures, or systems,
analyzing, and making recommendations. In addition, operates as liaison for various
divisions and agencies. Staff development including, identifies training issues, and makes
recommendations for solution of training issues and complex organizational matters.
Monitors performance and maintains system of discipline to ensure unit productivity.

2007 2015: Supervising Child Support Officer - County of Los Angeles Child Support Service
Supervised in Central Intake Division, Co-Locate, State Hearing, Ombudsmen, Customer
Financial Services, and Intergovernmental Divisions. Plan, assign, direct, and evaluate the
quality of work completed by subordinates. Operate as liaison for various divisions and
agencies. Also, interprets Department policies and program regulations in terms of their
application to the child support program.

2006 2007: Child Support Officer III - County of Los Angeles Child Support Services
Assign to Quality Assurance and Torrance Divisions. Identify and correct discrepancies
and omissions on data found. During this time participated in the design and delivery of
various training programs. Monitor cases using criteria developed by the California
Department of Child Support Services. Also compile and analyze statistical data.

1998 2006: Child Support Officer I and II - County of Los Angeles Child Support Services
Assign to El Segundo and Intergovernmental divisions. Interview non-custodial and
custodial parents as well as locate non-custodial parents for the purpose of establishing and
collecting child support. Develop and maintain contacts with other agencies, offices,
persons, and business as sources of financial and other information to assist with locates.
