INTRODUCTION
What is Training Room?
Training Room is a Web service for Health and Fitness club.
It allows club members to have access to most of the Wellness Expert services through Internet with
the same look & feel.
It allows also the usage of Wellness System in a multisite configuration, i.e. multiple clubs can be
connected together via Internet and users can train with the TGS key in any of these clubs.

This service can be easily included in the club web site or can be accessed directly if the club does
not have a web site.
The Training room is available in the following languages:

System Architecture
Mywellness provide all resources and applications to the club for delivering the service, such as
servers, operating system and database application, etc..
The club has 2 options:
q To make the service accessible from the club web site
q To make the service directly accessible from the Training Room login page, thus making the
service available even without a club web site.

FEATURES
Training Room allows users to train following the program assigned by their trainer, check training
results for assessing your progress, update personal data, read and send messages and check that the
exercises are performed correctly with video.

Enabling Users for Training Room

Clubs can enable users to register and login to the training room.
To enable users clubs will give a registration key (i.e. a registration code) generated with the
Wellness Trainer.

Registration and Login

Registered user access Training Room using User Id and password they choose upon registration.
Users register on- line. User can enter their personal data and then set a user Id and password. This is
possible only for users registering to virtual club.
Users belonging to clubs equipped with Wellness System will use a registration key generated by
Wellness Traine r to be registered and validated for Training Room.

Modify Profile
User can modify the settings for the Training Room:
q Change Password
q Language
q Date Format
q TGS key available
q Results display format

Welcome Page
This page is presented to the user when she successfully login to Training room. This page will
display summary data results for the user that is currently logged in,.
If user has new messages awaiting, they are displayed here.
There is an area that club can customize with messages and picture (see Administration Console).

Training
Within this section users can select each workout to display the exercises (names and workload
summary) of the workout.
In the workout details page users can click on each exercise to display details.
Exercise details are:
q Exercise names
q Number of sets or intervals
q Workload of each set or interval
q Exercise picture
Club members can select a workout, perform it and at the end record results as they would do on the
This section will display the workouts (with estimated duration) of the training program for the user
currently logged in.

Workouts can be loaded on the TGS key via Internet from a PC, a Trainer Point is necessary, or
printed out. At the end of the workout the results can be downloaded from the TGS key or input
manually. With this feature club staff has all members activities under control.

Activities
Users can save activities. These activities will not be part of their current workout.
To add an activity users must select it from a list of activities available. After this selection users
must enter:
Duration in minutes
Intensity
Distance, if applicable (optional)
Average Heart Rate (optional)
Burned Calories (optional). If this field is omitted calories must be computed based on
duration or distance.
- Upon saving user is returned to the Current Workout section.

Results
This section will display results dataof:
q Training
q Functional Tests
q Biometric Parameters
For each type users can select the type of results to display.

Training results available are:

Cardio Workout Data
o Calories
o Distance
o Duration
o Heart rate
o Performance Index
Strength Workout Data
o Total weight lifted
o Weight lifted by body part (Chest, Back, Torso, Legs)
Trend
These results are the daily results only. No monthly results or total results will be displayed.

Body Composition Test Results
Biometrics parameters displayed are the one configured in the Wellness System.

Messages
Messages of Training Room are integrated with messaging feature of Wellness System.
Users can read over the Internet the messages sent to them from Wellness System as if they were
in the club at the Wellness Expert kiosk. They can also write new messages to trainers or other

members. These messages will be accessible by the recipients in the Wellness System (Wellness
Trainer or Wellness Expert) or in the Training Room.

Video
This section allows the currently logged user to view a picture of muscle of human body. By
clicking on different muscle groups, users can display a list of exercises pertaining to that group. By
clicking on an exercise a picture appears and if a video is available a link to play the video is
displayed.

Multi site support (Roaming User)

With Training Room technology clubs can deliver Wellness System benefits across multiple site:
q Members can perform their workout in any club of a chain using the same TGS key and
their own program, they can view and update their results
q Members training data are shared amongst different clubs of the same chain
q Club staff can then monitor performances of their customers across the sites
q Clubs can deliver a new service and reinforce members loyalty
Multisite support only requires that clubs are connected to the Internet , to the web site of the
Training Room.

ADMINISTRATION CONSOLE
This is a web based application, separate from Training Room, which allows club staff to
administer and customize Training Room site.

Report
There are ad-hoc reports to monitor Training room usage:
o Accesses per member: list all access to the Training Room of the selected user
o Accesses over period of time: list all access by all users to the Training Room during the
selected period of time
With these reports and WS statistics all activities of the club or chain of clubs are under control

Configure Users
In this area you can change the registered user settings (language, unit of measurement, date format,
type of training allowed, enabling guided workout creating and site login method).

Configure Site
In this area you can change the settings for the whole Training Room site: which sections of site are
displayed, e.g. you can hide menu buttons for activities and videos, setup site administrator
password and set the default values for all the users. In this area clubs can also change the text and
pictures appearing in the welcome page and in the login screen of the Training Room site using this
feature to post news about upcoming events, advertise promotions etc

Configure Club
In this area you can configure the club or club chain settings, such as the biometric parameters and
the activity.

Configure security
In this area you can manage the users' associated security profile settings to limit access to certain
areas of site.

Customizable Look & Feel: Club s can change pictures and text of welcome screen and login
screen, from administration console ; for example they can display advertisement or post news about
club initiatives. Font size, font style and colours of pages can be customised at setup time to match
club branding. This operation should be done by Mywellness/TG.
