Founded in 1981, the International Association for Near-
Death Studies is the primary international organization
dedicated to encouraging scientific research and education
on the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual nature
and ramifications of near-death experiences. IANDS
disseminates research on NDEsand similar experiences to
a broad audience including scientists, medical professionals,
religious thinkers, and the general public.
This information about the nature of consciousness, while

a challenge to the current scientific model, has far-reaching
implications. IANDS remains dedicated to it's mission of
promoting research, exploration, and debate in this field.

Cross Comparative Research on
the Contact Modalities
Eventually we want to compare this UFO contact experiencer group with
individuals that have had other types of paranormal contact experienc
through the following Contact Modalities* with Non Human Intelligence
(NHI):
- NDE contact
- OBE contact
- Shamanic Hallucinogenic contact
- Channeling of Non Human Intelligence
- Spirit/Ghost communications
- Remote Viewing contact
- and other types of human encounters with Non-Human Intelligence, and
its related paranormal contact experiences.
Quantum Hologram Theory of Consciousness (QHTC)
The majority of our FREE Board of Directors hypothesize that
all of these Contact Modalities are interconnected through
what is commonly called Consciousness and that advanced
physics, in particular, the Quantum Hologram Theory of
Physics and Consciousness (QHTC), as developed by the late
Dr. Edgar Mitchell, one of FREEs Co-Founders, can possibly
begin to provide a rudimentary understanding how all of these
diverse paranormal Contact Modalities" are interrelated.

Eventually, FREE plans to add to the QHTC model the

Research Study Methodology
1. Academic Research Team: FREE has 6 PH. D.s and 5 leading
researchers in this arena. Dr. Jon KlimQ, our Co-Chair, has
taught Research Methodology for over 40 years and is one of
the worlds leading academics on the paranormal. Dr. Bob
Davis, a retired professor of Neuroscience and Rey
Hernandez, an experiencer and Ph.D. Candidate from UC
Berkeley, are the other 2 Co-Chairs.
2. Previous Research Studies: No one has ever undertaken a

comprehensive academic research study of UFO related
contact experiences.
3. Size of the Sample Pool: The few studies in this field have
had less than 50 individuals in their sample. Our study has
had over 3,687 responses to our English language survey as of
August 1, 2017.
4. Publicity & Outreach
The previous small studies have self selected only Abductees from
other Ufologists.These individuals were all well known to
Researchers. The FREE Study, however, is completely ANONYMOUS.

Paranormal, New Age, Consciousness, and Experiencer radio programs);
>- Sent emails to over 2,500 individuals/organizations and top researchers
