I have the honor to submit my thesis proposal entitled, The Redevelopment of the Rizal Memorial
Sports Complex as a partial requirement for the degree of Bachelor of Science in Architecture. With the
goal of redeveloping the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex into an updated and modernized training facility
for Philippine athletes, the following are its project objectives:

1. To focus on catering specifically to the needs of amateur or professional athletes in the country,
pertaining both their physical and mental health.
2. To redevelop the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex into an updated training center equipped with
adequate facilities that would aid in the training and skill development of the users, yet still
preserving the sites historical significance.
3. To improve the current state of Philippine sports in general, through the development of a state-
of-the-art sports complex, equipped with up-to-date technologies and facilities.

Upon the approval of this proposal, it is understood that I shall proceed with the research work and submit
it on the designated date. Justification and other requirements for the proposal are included herewith.
