In groups of three, read each others dialogues out loud. When finished, spend time close
reading and editing your peers work. Answer the following questions for each dialogue that you
read, then each group make a single folder to share with each other and teachers. Also include
your original dialogues. Revisions are due Wednesday, August 28th.
Note: Please be thorough in your answers. Its particularly helpful in peer review if you can
explain why something isnt working, or suggest concrete ways that something might be
improved. Also, please be respectful, and understand that this is a first draft.
2. Evaluate the complexity of these arguments. Can they be strengthened? If so, how?
3. Are there moments where the language is confusing? Please point to specific examples and
suggest edits.
4. State what you feel the author has done successfully in this draft. What interests you?
5. What are some general suggestions you have to improve this piece of writing?
