INTRODUCTION (center)

- Include Importance of the project in attaining different

Learning competencies of Systems Analysis and Design.
METHODOLOGY (center)
- Discuss the different fact finding techniques you have
used in the course of project development
- Identify Project Development Methodology and the
reason why you selected that model.
- Network Environment of the system
SYSTEM PROPOSAL
A. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
- A summary of all the essential information in the
proposal so that a busy executive can read it quickly
and decide what parts of the plant to read in more
depth. Identify the scope of your proposal by identifying
the different functionalities of your proposed project.
B. SYSTEM REQUEST

System request-[NAME OF THE PROJECT]

Project Sponsor: Name or Position of the project Sponsor

Business Need Short description of the business need
Business Requirements Description of business requirements
Business Value Expected Value that the system will provide
Special Issues Any additional information that may be relevant to the stakeholders

C. WORK PLAN
- The original work plan, revised after having completed
the analysis phase
- Task are the different activities under your selected
development model
- Duration is the ideal number of weeks needed to
complete the task
- Dependency is the task which you rely on to complete
the activity.

Task Duration Dependency Status

D. FEASIBILITY ANALYSIS
- A revised feasibility analysis, using the information from
the analysis phase
- Organizational Feasibility
- Economic Feasibility (include a cash flow that would
present a 4 year plan including development time)
-Technical Feasibility
GAP TABLE
E. REQUIREMENTS DEFINITION
- A list of the functional and nonfunctional business
requirements for the system
- Group the non-functional requirements into operational,
performance, security and cultural and political
requirements.

Functional Requirement
Non Functional Requirement
1.1 OPERATIONAL
1.2 PERFORMANCE
1.3 SECURITY
1.4 CULTURAL

Example:
F. BEHAVIORAL AND STRUCTURAL MODELS (Data Model, Process
Model)
a. Analysis of the Existing System
b. Analysis of the proposed system
c. Data Dictionary
d. Table of reports
- Data Model-using Unified Modeling Language
- Context level
- Level 1
G. RECOMMENDATION AND CONCLUSION
H. APPENDICES: survey results, interviews, industry reports, potential
design issues, etc.)

Note:

1. Include table of contents

2. All parts of the project should have an introductory paragraph that

would summarize the content of each part of the project.

3. All tables should be interpreted in a paragraph format.

4. Use MS Visio for all diagrams and label it as Figure #, Figure Label

5. Use the following formatting

5.1. Paper: Short Bond paper

5.2. Font: Headings: Berlin Sans FB,12,Left

Body: Bell MT,12, justified, indented, 1.5 line spacing

5.3. Margins left:1.5,right:1,top:.5,bottom:.5

5.4. Header: Odd Pages: System Proposal for Name

of Organization

Ex: System Proposal for University of Saint

Louis Tuguegarao

Footer: Odd Pages: Proponents: Fname Initials, Family name
