Candidateswillbenotifiedoftheamountpriortotheexamdate.Thereisnoadditionalsittingfeeat
theotherlistedlocations.

3. Ifacandidatepassestheexamination,andhasnodeficienciesfoundinanysectionsoftheapplication,
thecandidatewillbecertifiedandreceiveacertificateandwalletcardapproximately3monthsafter
theexaminationdate.

4. APIgrantseachcandidatethreeconsecutiveattemptsduringatwelve(12)monthperiod,beginning
withthefirstexamadministrationtheapplicantisscheduledfor,tositandpassthetest.Applicants
whofailtheexaminationontheirfirstattempt,mayretakeittwice.Ifyoufailtoappearforthetestit
willstillcountasanofficialattempt.

5. Ifyoudonotpasstheexaminationonthefirstattempt,youwillneedtosubmitaTestRegistration
Formandthereschedulefee.Ifthecandidateisunsuccessfulonthethirdattempt,anewapplication
mustbesubmittedalongwithanewapplicationfee.

6. Examinationresultswillbeemailedtocandidatesapproximatelyeight(8)weeksafterthe
examination.AlsoAPIautomatedcustomerservicelinewillprovidecandidateswiththeirresults
(candidateswillneedtousetheir5digitAPIID).
