To,
Mr. Shekar Bose,
(ISC)2 Bangalore Chapter.
Dear Sir,
This letter is to invite International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC2)
Bangalore Chapter to be a Supporting Partner for EC-Councils upcoming event The Global CISO
Summit 2015 India.
The year 2014 saw major data breaches and millions of customer account compromises. A detailed analysis of
the security scenario presents to us the many reasons for vulnerabilities. From the age-old security tools used by
organisations to the lack of skilled man power, Information Security is still not recognized as a critical
component of an organization. Lack of quantifiable metrics for determining the ROI on Cyber Security
spending is one of the major reasons for the current bleak situation.
Todays CISO needs to understand such diverse areas as risk management, technology advancements,
organizational behavior, legal and regulatory changes, effective communications, and financial management,
but is often at a loss on where to get actionable information on how to address these areas. In short, they need
answers from experts. The EC-Council Global CISO Summit India 2015 is designed to revolutionize this
balance. This will be one of Asias chief gatherings of high-ranking CISOs from diverse industries and
backgrounds giving a clear picture discussing the challenges they face and the latest solutions with a global
perspective.
Also, the Summit will see discussion on varied subjects starting from the latest trends in Information Security to
the weak links in the supply chain of and the measures to be adopted to mitigate risks keeping in with the
enterprise vision of the respective organizations. The Global CISO Summit India 2015 is the platform for
CISOs to share their knowledge and critical acumen with their peer group across domains.
As one of the key players in the Information Security domain, EC-Council understands the gravity of the
situation. In its capacity, EC-Council is initiating several programs to alleviate the issue of cyber-crime trying to
find the grass root of the problem. In our endeavor toward capacity development, we have launched several
training programs across the globe. Fourteen years since our inception in 2001, we have built the capacity to
train over 60,000 Cyber security professionals across the globe. This high number is a proud accomplishment of
our 700 partners spread across the globe in 107 countries.
Keeping in mind the above facts, on behalf of The EC-Council Global CISO Summit India, we invite
International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) Bangalore Chapter to support the
Summit as a Supporting Partner to reach the common goal of building capacity at the highest rung of the
InfoSec ladder.
By being a Supporting Partner, ISC2 and EC-Council will share the deliverables in below with benefits:
Deliverables to EC-Council:
1. Dedicated emails to all of ISC2 members every fortnight before the event and two emails after the event.
