MATTERS FOR INVESTIGATION - RE: BRENDA AND/OR EDWARD SOKOLOWSKY

BACKGROUND

Jack and Gwendolyn Brown lived at 36 County Road 1 in Picton Ontario. They had two children,
a Son - Donald Brown, and a daughter - Brenda Sokolowsky. Jack and Gwen had 7
Grandchildren, the eldest being Brenda Everall. Until the early 2000s Brenda Sokolowsky lived
nearby to her parents at 40 County Road 1 and Donald lived just as close with an address at 38
County Road 1. Jack and Gwen supplied water and driveway access to all three homes.
Eventually Brenda Sokolowsky received the home that she was living in, allegedly as a gift from
Jack and Gwen, and she sold it and moved to Bloomfield, Ontario. Shortly after Brenda
Sokolowsky moved away, Donald moved to Belleville for work purposes and he sold the home
at 38 County Road 1 for what was left owing on the mortgage to his daughter on a rent-to-own
basis and eventually bought a new house in Belleville for which he still pays a mortgage. Gwen,
Jack and Brenda Sokolowsky always agreed and promised Donald that he would inherit the
house at 36 County Road 1. Donald based his lifes decisions around this promise. Although he
pays a mortgage in Belleville Ontario Donald will make nothing, or very little, off of the sale of
his house should he sell it and move into the home that was to be his inheritance. Therefore,
Donald would only have one home in the long-run, should he inherit the home he was
historically promised. Donalds eldest daughter, Brenda Everall, continues to reside at 38
County Road 1.

Over the years, Donald would do general home repairs for Jack and Gwen whenever they
requested such and he would tend to their needs as he was made aware of them. Often times,
his sister Brenda seemed to interfere and to attempt to generate conflict between Donald, his
parents and other family members. Eventually Donald disowned his Sister Brenda and refused
to allow her to cause anymore pain or damage in his life. Although Donald had his own
relationship with Jack and Gwen, Brenda Sokolowsky generally seemed to pry into it and she
spent several years, in my opinion, portraying to others that Donald was some sort of villain who
had somehow victimized her and/or her parents, when, as far as I can see, nothing could be
further from the truth. Donald always loved and supported his sister historically, however, she
always seemed to rally against her brother whenever he gained any sort of attention in life.
Donald named his first born daughter after his sister, a testament to how much he once loved
her.

INTRODUCTION

Brenda Everall, Donalds oldest daughter, alleges that Brenda Sokolowsky failed to act in the
best interest of Jack Brown, leading to his death. Since then, Brenda Everall further alleges that
Brenda and/or Edward Sokolowsky have actively alienated particular members of Gwens family
away from her. Since Jacks death, Gwen has been moved to a retirement home, her assets
have allegedly been sold off and her house has been put up for sale.

Although there is no reason whatsoever that Donald cannot make decisions for his Mother, just
as his sister, Brenda Sokolowsky, does, Brenda Sokolowsky seems to rally against any notion
that Donald should have the right to know anything about his own mother. Gwen reported to
Brenda Everall, Donalds eldest daughter, in August 2017, that she was unaware that Donald
had no rights in this regard, or that he had been removed from Jacks will until she read Jacks
will, sometime after his death. Donalds family seeks to know why Gwen seems so confused in
so many regards while Brenda Sokolowsky refuses to speak with members of Donalds family
without using lawyers and/or police officers as mediators.

FACTS AND ALLEGATIONS

By 2011 it was evident that Donald had cut ties with his sister Brenda and the constant conflict
that she seemed to generate in his life began to lessen. It seems, at this time, Brenda
Sokolowsky went into some sort of mode of revenge towards Donald. Up until 2011, Brenda
Sokolowsky had always been quite candid with Brenda Everall about how she planned to take
Donald out of Jack and Gwens will and to make sure that he never gained his inheritance or his
parents favour. This, and other issues, caused Brenda Everall to terminate life-long relationship
with her Aunt Brenda. Brenda Sokolowsky seemed to take up a vengeance with Brenda Everall
as a result, though she was still begging Brenda Everall for her forgiveness by the end of 2013.

Eventually, Brenda Sokolowsky would engage in a campaign to actively alienate Donald, his
daughter Brenda Everall, and their families away from Jack and/or Gwen Brown, seemingly at
any cost!

Around 2013, Jack was diagnosed with cancer. At first the whole family worked together to meet
Jacks needs. Eventually, Brenda Sokolowsky began to generate conflict and to make it appear
to others as though Donald and his wife were not caring for Jack in the ways that loving family
members would. Brenda Sokolowsky began making threats to particular people in the family
that if Donald did not do as she demanded that she would make sure he was cut out of the Will.
Brenda Sokolowsky was not appreciating the pitfalls that Donald and his wife were experiencing
in their own lives, only seeming to exploit them as failures, losers or bad people in general.

Brenda Everall lived footsteps away from Jack and Gwen so the family came to rely on her to
meet their daily needs and to give them the general care required.. Rarely did Brenda or Ed
Sokolowsky, or their children for that matter, visit with Jack and/or Gwen in their own home.
Usually Brenda and/or Ed would pick them up and take them outside of their home whenever
they did interact with them. Brenda Everall and her children spent many, many days and nights
at Gwen and Jacks. They know who was coming and going over the years and they adamantly
state that to see Ed or Brenda Sokolowsky at Jack and Gwens home was extremely rare. Only
when Jack became terminally ill did they regularly rear their heads at 36 County Road 1. Donald
and his wife visited far more often and regularly, especially given that their own daughter and
lived just footsteps away from Jack and Gwen. Still, Brenda Sokolowsky seemed to allege that
Donald and his wife never, or rarely, visited with Jack and/or Gwen.

By 2016 Jacks cancer was taking its toll on him. Brenda Everall and Jack agreed to begin a
natural regimen in the early spring of 2016 as traditional treatments were failing him. Jacks diet
was overhauled to include whole foods and to eliminate foods that tend to fuel cancer. Even
though many people witnessed a drastic improvement in Jacks health, Brenda Sokolowsky, his
alleged Power of Attorney, demanded that the regimen be halted until Jacks oncologist
approved the foods and vitamins that he was taking. It was things like Bran, flax, oil of oregano,
cottage cheese, etc. that had Brenda Sokolowsky so allegedly concerned.

As no doctor had any qualms, whatsoever, about the proposed regimen, Jack and his
Grand-daughter, Brenda Everall, determined to resume the regimen immediately. It seemed so
absurd to us that we had been stopped to begin with, especially where so many people had
Jack improving as a result of the natural regimen. On the same evening that Jack received the
go ahead from his oncologist, he ingested hydromorphone, a powerful pharmaceutical for pain,
without his informed consent, allegedly while in the care of Brenda Sokolowsky. Jack allegedly
suffered an adverse reaction to the medication. Jack had INSISTED that he did not need or
want hydromorphone in the first place and that he did not understand why had received it. It is
unclear why Jack received this medicine, especially when Brenda Sokolowsky reported to
Brenda Everall that Jack had been active and upbeat on the evening that it had been
administered to him. Eventually, even Jacks nurse would refuse to admit or discuss the fact that
Jack had been given the medicine. At any rate, Jack died 22 days after ingesting the
hydromorphone and he sore until he could swear no more, some of which I recorded, that the
hydromorphone was the final nail in his coffin, so to speak.

Brenda Sokolowsky alleged that she had consulted with Jacks Family Doctor regarding the
adverse reaction that he suffered, however, she did not want to be accountable for the situation
thereafter. In fact, she treated Brenda Everall with a strange respect when attempting to sweep
the whole ordeal under the carpet, indicating her attempts to manipulate and minimize the
situation, during a phone call that Brenda Everall made to her at her request. Brenda
Sokolowsky acted out of character when speaking to Brenda Everall about the hydromorphone
episode and only went on to instantly resume the alienation campaign once she felt that she
had successfully manipulated herself out of any accountability by promising to work together.

The final weeks of Jacks life were a nightmare for him and for Brenda Everall, his primary
caregiver. Although Brenda Sokolowsky continuously stated that home services were being
arranged for Jack to remain in his home until his final breath, as per Jacks wishes, those
services never arrived, at least as far as Brenda Everall was made aware. Beyond having a
Nurse come into the home most, if not all, of Jacks care was left up to Brenda Everall. Brenda
Everall eventually called Rusty Brown, her Mother, to come and help her as Brenda was sick
herself and no longer able to handle the heavy load of care in the final week or two of Jacks life.
Donald and Rusty dropped everything and virtually moved into Jack and Gwens home to make
sure his needs were met.

After a serious case of neglect at the Picton Hospital Jacks health was obviously in serious
decline. Instead of allowing him to pass away at home, he was transferred to Hospice, the very
place that he was promised that he would never go to, and he died there. Brenda Sokolowskys
alleged campaign to alienate Donald and/or Brenda Everall away from Gwen seemed to
heighten almost immediately upon Jacks death.

Because Brenda Everall spent the summer caring for Jack, instead of completing imperative
home renovations in her home, she moved away from the home behind Gwens house for the
winter months. Gwen managed to live in her home throughout the winter months, after Jacks
passing, without much issue, other than loneliness, of course. Brenda Everall saw Gwen at a
family funeral in May 2017 and she told Gwen that she would be returning to the family property
by June 1, 2017. Gwen said she was happy with that news and that she would look forward to
Brendas return.

By June 1, 2017 Gwen had been admitted to Picton Hospital. Gwen told Brenda Everall, and
others, that she has no recall about how she ended up in hospital. Gwen was transferred from
the hospital to a retirement home. Gwen stated to Brenda Everall that she wanted to go home
but that Brenda Sokolowsky had to follow doctors orders and relocate her to some sort of care
facility. Several members of Gwens family had offered to care for her in her own home, but
Brenda Sokolowsky stated that Mom doesnt want that. Gwen believes that a doctor can order
a person out of their own home when they are of sound mind. I wonder where she got that
notion as it is totally ludicrous!

At any rate, Gwen and Brenda Sokolowsky repeatedly stated their intention to sign Gwens
house over to Donald now that Gwen could no longer live in it. Gwen and Brenda Sokolowsky
both stated that the transfer would occur by August 2017.

Brenda Everall moved back to 38 County Road 1 on June 1, 2017. On or about June 3, 2017
Edward Sokolowsky attended Brendas home with the Police. The Police told Brenda that they
spoke with Gwen and that Gwen forbids Brendas attendance at 36 County Road unless Gwen
is present.

Sometime nearing the end of July 2017, Edward Sokolowsky abused 911 services by calling to
report false allegations about Rusty Brown and Brenda Everall. Brenda Everall and Rusty
recorded the event and merely tried to speak with Ed about what is going on with Gwen, her
home and her assets. Ed refused to speak with either Rusty or Brenda Everall and he called
911 with false allegations instead. The police allegedly cautioned Ed for this sort of abuse,
however, they failed to charge him like they would seemingly do with others who commit the
same crime.
Since Brenda Everall has been forbidden to enter into Gwens home, much of Gwens material
items have allegedly been sold off. Donalds family was not told of sale dates and were never
afforded an opportunity to have, or even to purchase, sentimental items or heirlooms. Although
Gwen has given permission for Donalds family to be part of her life and to enter into her home,
Brenda Sokolowsky actively resists such by locking the home and failing to provide other family
members with a key. When Brenda Everall told Gwen that a police officer told her that she
wasnt welcome in Gwens home, Gwen said Well hes a Goddamned liar!

Historically, Jack and Gwen supplied water to Donald and/or Brenda Everall while they lived in
the home behind him. An underground pipe runs from Jacks Well to the house at 38 County
Road 1 and the shut off valve is located in the basement of Gwens home at 36 County Road 1.
Never before has there been an issue with the water supply, however, since Gwen was
transferred to the Retirement Home, Brenda Everall receives only a tiny trickle of water from her
tap, not providing enough pressure to do much of anything useful in her home. Jack promised
Donald and Brenda Everall a lifetime, perpetual supply of Well Water, however, Brenda Everall
is forbidden access to Gwens basement to turn the water tap on to full capacity. The Police
were notified, however, nothing is ever done about it. It seems to Brenda Everall that Brenda
Sokolowsky is further attempting to ensure that water, for whatever reason, wont be supplied to
Brenda Everall in the future, especially if she can thwart Donalds inheritance by selling Gwens
house.

In the first week of August 2017, Donald received a letter and a proposal from Ken Menlove,
Gwens Lawyer, stating that $53,000.00 was required to purchase the house that was supposed
to be an inheritance, that commentary on the matter should be directed to his office and not to
Gwen, that this was the only gift that Donald could expect in Gwens lifetime or after her death,
and that Donald had four days, two of which were days of the weekend, to make the necessary
arrangements otherwise all opportunity regarding the matter would be forfeited. Brenda Everall
fully intends to complain to the LSUC about Mr. Menloves role in Gwens affairs. Brenda Everall
intends to further protest the Menlove Law Firm.

Brenda Everall visited with Gwen to discuss the Lawyers letter and the proposal for the sale of
the house with her. Gwen stated that she loves Donald very much, that she wants him to have
the house, that she believes that she may not have enough money to live out her live in a
retirement facility, that she never instructed the Police to forbid Brenda Everall access to her
home, that she doesnt know whats going on with her own life, that she wanted to remain living
in her own home but that her Doctor wouldnt allow it, that she didnt know that Donald was
removed from the Will until allegedly reading Jacks Will, sometime after his death.

One week after Donald failed to meet the (unfair) terms for buying Gwens house a For Sale
appeared in Gwens front yard. The house is now, apparently, being sold for fair market value. I
would surely hope that Brenda Sokolowsky reported all that is wrong with Gwens house when
listing it on the market. To my knowledge, there are potential structural issues, potential mold
issues from repeated flooding in the upstairs and downstairs washrooms, potential
electrical/wiring issues, potential plumbing/septic issues, and potential issues with a gas line
running through the basement. There are potential water sharing issues and driveway access
issues as well. At any rate, Donald supplied many features of the home to his parents on the
guarantee that the home would one day be his. Donald supplied several doors that were
installed in the home, several railings that were used for decorative outdoor safety measures,
garden decorations such as an old fire hydrant, shingles that were used for a walkway (that are
now discarded behind Gwens house), etc., etc., etc.! Donald also did home renovations when
his parents would request him to, such as roof repairs, and Donald was not paid for these duties
as he was told, and agreed with the notion, that his payment would come to him the form of one
day inheriting the house.

Upon reviewing the facts at hand here, especially since Jack was first diagnosed with cancer, it
would seem that Brenda Sokolowsky has her own agenda when it comes to acting as POA for
Jack and/or Gwen Brown. I believe that Brenda Sokolowsky has potentially facilitated tax
evasion in Jacks name by allegedly failing to ensure that all monies received by Jack were
claimed on his personal Income Tax Returns.

Brenda Everall alleges that she has personally witnessed Brenda Sokolowsky abusing Gwen
Brown through ridicule, shame, humiliation, and verbal assault in general. Brenda Everall does
further allege that Gwen is being manipulated, whether Gwen realizes it or not, by Brenda
Sokolowsky and that Brenda Sokolowsky continues to alienate particular family members away
from Gwen, which is not in Gwens best interest, especially at this late stage in her life. Brenda
Everall reports that Gwen seems very confused and lonely whenever she speaks to Gwen.

CONCLUSION
Gwen Brown worked very hard for much of her life. She was smart and responsible with her
money. Its concerning to some people in Donalds family that Gwen thinks that she may not be
secure in the future because the family was always told that Gwen was very well set up for the
future due to the investments that she had made in her life through hard work and sacrifice.
Brenda Everall does not understand why Gwen is not being encouraged to live in her own home
with the supports of her loving family as opposed to spending outrageous amounts of money
each month for Gwen to live in a retirement facility. Brenda Everall believes that she could
drastically improve the quality of Gwens life, immediately, should Brenda Sokolowsky actually
work with Donald and his family to generate peace as opposed to conflict. There is nothing to
fight about. No one from Donalds family has done anything to Brenda and/or Edward
Sokolowsky to warrant the treatment they receive from them. Donald and his family have tried to
work in the best interests of Gwen and her family, however, Brenda Sokolowsky informed Rusty
Brown in the recent past that all questions about Gwen and/or her property are to be directed to
Gwens Lawyer at the cost of Donald and/or his family.
As Brenda Sokolowsky will only, allegedly, speak with Donald and/or his family members about
Gwen, Gwens affairs, or Gwens Estate, through Lawyers or Police Officers, Brenda Everall
feels that it is imperative to have these matters investigated as soon as possible.

Brenda Everall alleges that there is a circle of friends in Prince Edward County who collude
against her and that some of these people sometimes employ the services of the Prince Edward
County O.P.P to thwart her progress as she advocates particular matters. Brenda Everall
sincerely hopes that this wont be the case with the matters she presents at this time and she
urges the reader to investigate and to govern themselves accordingly heron.

If a formal investigation reveals that Gwen Brown is being manipulated by Brenda and/or
Edward Sokolowsky and they are held to account for such then no further legal action will be
taken against Gwen. Should the investigation reveal that Gwen is actively and purposely
excluding Donald and/or his family from her life at this point then Donald and Brenda Everall
intend to submit invoices for their losses and for their personal injuries and will further attempt to
place a lien on the Gwens Estate.

Of specific concern:

1. Gwens best interests.

2. Events surrounding Jacks death.
3. Donalds inheritance.
4. The future water supply to 38 County Road 1, Picton, Ontario.
5. Driveway access to 38 County Road 1, Picton, Ontario.
6. Potential Police collusion.
7. Potential Lawyer conspiracy/collusion.
8. Potential Power of Attorney abuse(s).
9. Items, time and care spent on Gwen, Jack and/or their home/property.
10. Family alienation
11. Disclosure about potential issues in home to Real Estate Agency.
12. Withholding water after historic verbal contract to provide such.
