The Kelapa Gading GYM Gay Party

Indonesia is shocked by a gay sex party in Kelapa gading, the term of gay is
homosexuality is considered to be the same-sex sexual attraction and behavior and gay is
synonym of homosexuality. The term of homosexuality was first used by victorian scientist
who considered same-sex attraction and behavior a moral defeciency. This party is performed
in a shop they ussualy use for gym, people who attended the party were attended by 140
people this is a real prove that gay community is exist in Indonesia, only the one who have
membership can enter the party and must pay 180 thousand rupiah. A shop has 3 floors and
various facilities. There is a small room that is designed to resemble a prison with a green
curtain, and the black mattress on the inside. On the wall of the room there is some
handwriting using black paint, one of his writings has "safety is priority". There is also a
room containing a spa pool, 1 unit flat screen television and a place to change clothes. There
is no sign that this place is used for gymnastics activity. People near the crime scene has no
suspicion because they think that the place is a usuall gym. This party was known by the
police on the day of the 21st of May 2017, the police immediately closed the place and
confiscated all the evidence, police arrested everyone who was there. According to the
suspect, this party was began 3 years ago. 3 years is a long time for a community near the
place to not reported this party to the police. This is the example of moral degradation of the
indonesian community, back then this kind of thing is no where found in Indonesia but then
globalization introduced LGBT activity to the community and its all spread all over the
country.

According to indonesian culture, religion and also a violation of natural law.

Indonesian culture doesnt know about homosexual and theres no literature about gay
activity in indonesian ancient history. More importantly its a sin and offends God, theres no
religion in Indonesia like Islam, catholic, christianity, budhism, and hinduism accept the
concept of gay for example in catholic, they are filled with compassion and pray for those
who struggle againts unrelenting and violent temptation to homosexual sin. We pray for those
who fall into homosexual sin out of human weakness, that god may assist them with his
grace. Natural law is most elementary precept is that good is to be done and pursued, and
evil is to be avoided. By his natural reason, man can perceive what is morally good or bad
for him. Thus, he can know the end of pupose of each of his acts and how it is morally wrong
trasform the means that means that help him accomplish an act into the acts pupose. Any
situation which institutionalizes the circumvention of the purpose of the sexual act violates
natural law and the objective norm of morality. Homosexuality may accept in some liberal
country like Netherland, USA, Australia, and New Zealand because freedom of sexual
orientation is consider as one of the most important right of the liberal ideology. The process
of arresting the gay community was condemned by some coalition of advocate because this
party is private not open for public. According to them the actions of members of the gay
community is a private sphere. Arresting them can triggered other people to act violance
againts the LGBT community. The advocacy coalition consists of several non-governmental
organizations concentrating on legal aid, like LBH Jakarta, LBH comunity, LBH pers,
Indonesia law help foundation and Arus pelangi.

I think arrested gay community is the right thing to do, because it is become a duty of
the law enforcement. Arrested the gay community, make people aware that there are a places
that usually used for public like gym can commit immoral acts like gay party. And also with
the arrest of the gay community is expected to be a lesson to similar communities in order for
them to not doing this kind of act in the community because its considered as immoral act in
indonesia. And also gay is can be spread for example an uncle who is gay doing a sexual
harrasment to his nephew, in the future his nephew may be doing the same thing. This kind of
activity is againts the culture, religion, and natural law.
