 About KNIT Sultanpur:
Established in the year 1976, Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology,
Sultanpur is one of the leading technical institutions of the region
Responsible for producing top-grade engineers with skill sets
comparable with the best in the world.
It also renders the testing and consultancy services to the
neighboring industries and various other agencies
This is presently an autonomous government engineering institute
(under 2f and 12B of UGC Act) and affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam
Technical University, Lucknow, India.
The institute offers B.Tech., M. Tech. and Ph.D. courses in Civil,
Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Computer Science & Engineering
and Information Technology disciplines in addition to M.C.A. course
as well.

Centre
Government of Uttar Pradesh has unveiled the UP IT
& Startup Policy 2016 to foster entrepreneurship .
Promote innovation by creating an ecosystem that is
conductive for the growth of startups in the state.
The IT Incubation Centre strives to :
Nurture entrepreneurship in those people who have a
passion for knowledge generation and mentoring.
Make entrepreneurially-driven communication
initiatives recognized as vital for supporting the
sustainability of indigenous enterprises.
 Objective
1. To create physical infrastructure and support systems
necessary for business incubation activities.
2. Services such as training or High-speed Internet
access
3. Facilitate networking with professional resources,
which include mentors, experts, consultants and
advisors for the incubatee companies

 Our Role..
KNIT, Sultanpur established the Incubation and
Innovation Centre to enable startup ecosystem
in the Sultanpur district of the state.
The Institute will provide all the basic
infrastructural support i.e. Office space, meeting
room, platform to do networking, management
assistance other support services specific to
incubators.

 About E-Cell
E-Cell caters the need of today's fast growing tech colleges by giving an
idea to manage and manipulate the market strategies, knowledge and idea
of competitive world. It is an endeavour, not only for entrepreneurs but
also for the students who desire to have a better professional persona.
This shall help students grow positive attitude towards entrepreneurship
and help them foster a start-up individually.

E-Cell works in collaboration with Alumni, faculty and the students

committee. It aims to promote entrepreneurship drive among the
students of KNIT. We shall be responsible for broadening up the
link between student and alumni. Our works shall be for the
development of start up, in and outside the campus.

Workshop:
Workshop on Establishment of Incubation and Innovation Centre, August
02, 2016. This workshop provided us a foundation for establishment of
Innovation & Incubation Center.

Symposium:
"E-SYMPOSIUM organised on Febuary 08, 2017 aimed to enhance the
entrepreneurial and business developmental skills so that they may also
strive to be an entrepreneur.

International Conference:
International Conference on Innovation Entrepreneurship and Startup
organised during March 03-04, 2017. The main objective of this two-day
international conference was to ponder over the issues of development of
inclusive entrepreneurship and innovation in all over the Globe.
